Vladimir was born in 1963 in Split, Croatia and comes from a family with a long sea faring tradition. With a career spanning over 40 years, he brings a wealth of experience as a highly skilled Engineer, specializing in tanker ships, RO-RO pax, and Bulks since 1982. Rising to the position of Chief Engineer over two decades ago, while employed with the Alcoa Steamship company, Vladimir's expertise is well-established.
A recent addition to the KATINA team, Vladimir looks forward to creating new memories and further enriching his maritime journey. In his free time Vladimir enjoys spending time with his friends and family, though he admits his first passion will always be fishing!

Born in 1989, in Split, and currently residing in the scenic seaside town of Dugi Rat, Marko really enjoys his coastal living. In particular, the water sports that he has access to. However, it is handball that which is his first love. Not only does Marko play professionally, but he has also led his local club to success in tournaments. He likes working in a team where he can develop a strong working relationship through good communication, organization, and a proactive approach. He looks forward to assisting you on deck and with the toys. During his downtime, Marko likes to spend time with his friends and family.

Raised in the coastal city of Split, our seasoned deckhand brings five years of invaluable experience to the yacht crew. Known for his dedication and strong work ethic, he takes immense pride in his role, ensuring the vessel is always maintained to the highest standard. In his leisure time, Marino loves a good book, or can be found working out at the gym.
He enjoys meeting new people and with his friendly and approachable demeanor, he effortlessly builds rapport with guests and colleagues alike. His love for adventure and eagerness to learn make him an indispensable member of the KATINA team, always ready to tackle new challenges and contribute to unforgettable experiences on the sea.

Ivan was born in 1982 in Split, Croatia. He started his maritime career in 2014 on commercial ships as deck cadet. After finishing his officer exam, he began yacht career on 93m Feadship yacht in 2017. He built his career step by step. Started as deckhand, later got promotion to second officer a then to chief officer where he worked for two more years. After that he worked also like chief officer on 55m private yacht ion Dubai. He describe himself as multi-tasking, hardworking, team spirited and willing to improve his knowledge and skills to achieve highest possible career goals. In his free time, he enjoy boxing and travelling.

Ivana was born in 1994 in Split, Croatia. After finishing high school, where she majored in Interior Design, she continued her design education at the Faculty of Textile Technology, where she obtained a master's degree in Textile Design. In 2018, she entered the yachting industry and began sailing across the Mediterranean, providing guests with luxury service in a glamorous environment. She joined KATINA’s team, where her expertise and passion for hospitality and organization has flourished. When she is not at sea, Ivana works as a freelance graphic designer, utilizing her creative skills to craft visually captivating designs. In her free time, she enjoys indulging in her love for illustration and print designs, as well as hiking.

Lucija is a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a background in agronomy, engineering, and landscape architecture. Her career journey spans from hospitality and bar management to leading horticultural teams responsible for the upkeep of luxurious villas and five-star hotels across Croatia. With a natural talent for organisation, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on leadership approach, Lucija excels in dynamic, guest-facing environments.
Her first introduction to yachting came aboard an 18-metre M/Y Triton in Mali Lošinj, where she assisted with service, housekeeping, and deck duties on guest day trips. This experience ignited a deep passion for the yachting industry and the refined standards of hospitality it upholds. Lucija was drawn to the world of yachting not only for its high-end service culture but also for the opportunity to explore new places, meet people from diverse backgrounds, and be part of an international team. She thrives in fast-paced settings, adapts quickly, and takes great pride in delivering exceptional service with discretion and professionalism.

Lucija is a detail-oriented and motivated stewardess with a background in both design and hospitality. She studied at the School of Design, Graphics and Sustainable Construction in Split, where she developed a strong eye for organisation and aesthetics—skills that naturally carry over into her work on board.
Before stepping into yachting, Lucija worked in high-end bars and events as a bartender and waitress, gaining valuable experience in guest service and thriving in fast-paced environments. She began her yachting journey in 2024 and has already proven herself to be a reliable and positive presence within the interior team. Known for her professionalism, discretion, and upbeat attitude, Lucija brings warmth and care to everything she does. Outside of work, she loves discovering new places and draws inspiration from travel and different cultures.

Like so many in the industry, Ivan hails from Split, and he brings over three years of experience to the crew. Outside of his professional duties, Ivan has a real passion for music and adventure, and so in any spare time you’ll find him playing guitar or out riding motorcycles along the coast.
Known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail, Ivan ensures that all deck operations are executed seamlessly and efficiently. With a deep love for the sea and a knack for problem-solving, he is a valuable asset to the KATINA team. A natural leader with a laid-back personality, Ivan fosters a positive and collaborative work environment onboard.
Ivan Bulic

Ivan, born in 1995 in Split, Croatia, spent his childhood summers on the island of Hvar, where he learned to fish, swim, and dive. After graduating from Maritime high school, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the Faculty of Nautical Studies. From 2015 to 2021, Ivan worked as a skipper on a speed boat, showcasing the beauty of the Adriatic Coast to guests.
In 2022, he joined the sailing team of the world's largest vessel, the magnificent GOLDEN HORIZON, where he developed a passion for yachting. This led him to eagerly accept a position with the KATINA team. In his free time, Ivan enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, diving, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Ivan Domazet
Second Officer
Chef Zoran hails from Sibenik, Croatia. He has a real passion for food and boasts over twenty years of experience as a chef. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to undertake several internships and short-term assignments in Michelin-starred restaurants: Baby Restaurant* in Rome (2006-2008), Il Gelso di San Martino* (2008), La Subida Restaurant* in Cormons (2010), Guest Chef at Agli Amici** in Udine (2012), Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer** in Berlin (2014), Edvard Restaurant* in Vienna (2016), and Restaurant Villa Rothschild** in Frankfurt (2017). Before this, he worked in traditional Croatian restaurants, learning culinary secrets and gaining skills from “old school chefs.”
Zoran has since worked as Head Chef in several recognized restaurants, pioneering fine dining cuisine in Croatia. In 2005, he competed in the Championship of Young Chefs of Europe and was later appointed Executive Chef at Hotel Restaurant San Rocco in Istria, where he remained until 2013, earning recognition in the Michelin Guide. He then moved to the Kempinski Hotel Adriatic, where he was promoted to Task Force Head Chef at Ca’ d’Oro, a 1* Michelin star restaurant. Throughout his successful career, Zoran has built his reputation, often serving as a consultant during the opening of hotels and restaurants. He has been a guest chef at Vlaams Parlement in Brussels, the Croatian embassy in Stockholm, Rozmarin Restaurant in Slovenia, Amelia Restaurant in Venice, and on the Croatian MasterChef TV show. Zoran is also the author of the promotional menu “Tastes of Istria,” served on international flights with Croatia Airlines, and the recipe for Argeta Exclusive a la San Rocco pate, a very popular pate in Croatia.
We are delighted to have Zoran on board, meeting him just as he decided to seek adventure and new horizons further afield. Zoran was curious and started to dream of beautiful island scenery and interacting with guests on a warmer and more personal level. Now, he impresses guests daily by delivering a completely new level of service. We hope you will enjoy the KATINA gastronomic experience.
