With over 25 years of professional experience in the yachting industry, Captain Paul Askew brings a wealth of knowledge, a calm confidence, and a genuine passion for life at sea. Originally from Yorkshire, Paul is admired for his friendly demeanor and approachable leadership style.
His journey into boating began with a love for motorbike racing and powerboating on Lake Windermere, but it was sailing that ultimately captured his heart. This passion led him to pursue formal training, becoming a qualified RYA Instructor for both sail and power, and earning the prestigious Yachtmaster Ocean certification in both disciplines.
Paul’s strong engineering background ensures that every aspect of your journey is safe and seamless, while his extensive cruising experience across the Mediterranean and Caribbean guarantees exceptional local knowledge and professional service. Known for his “nothing is too much trouble” attitude, Paul is dedicated to creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every guest enjoys a truly memorable time on board.

Liz is both a skilled chef and a capable deckhand, bringing over a decade of yachting experience and an infectious enthusiasm for life at sea. Based in Mallorca for the past 20 years, she has developed a deep appreciation for Mediterranean living, flavours, and hospitality.
Equally at ease tying lines or preparing a gourmet lunch, Liz is an integral part of the crew. For the past five years, she has worked seamlessly alongside Captain Paul, forming a dynamic and well-coordinated team known for their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail.
In the galley, Liz shines. Her culinary style focuses on fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create beautifully presented dishes that are as nourishing as they are delicious. From sun-drenched Mediterranean classics to healthy, modern plates, her food is always full of flavour, heart, and creativity—leaving guests impressed and satisfied long after the last bite.

Chloe brings over three years of hands-on experience aboard sailing yachts, complemented by a solid foundation of professional training and a genuine passion for life at sea. Most recently, she completed an intensive six-month Yachtmaster Offshore training program and has actively competed in renowned regattas such as Cowes Week—showcasing her love for sailing and the dynamic pace of competitive yachting.
Her maritime journey began at the age of 16 as a lifeguard, evolving into a versatile career that blends watersports expertise with polished hospitality. Chloe’s background includes extensive front-of-house experience—ranging from barista work and cocktail bartending to high-end waitressing. This has honed her interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to create a warm, guest-focused environment both on and off the water.
Chloe holds a comprehensive suite of qualifications, including RYA Yachtmaster Offshore (CE), PWC and Dinghy Instructor certifications, as well as training in powerboat operation and radar systems. Energetic, personable, and highly capable, she brings a proactive, can-do approach to every aspect of onboard life—whether assisting guests, coordinating watersports, or supporting the team with seamless service and enthusiasm.
