Ella joined L’Hippocampe at the start of the 2024 Caribbean season. Since then, she has carefully assembled a young and skilled crew, each member handpicked to provide guests with a high-end, bespoke experience. Reliable, calm, and possessing strong sailing abilities, Ella has proven her expertise with an impressive track record in various regattas. Having grown up sailing, she has developed a deep passion for the sea and water sports, including kitesurfing and freediving.
With a background as a certified swim instructor, having taught hundreds of children to swim, Ella is equipped with exceptional water safety skills. Her expertise is especially valuable when catering to families with young children, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience in the water. Her calm demeanor, combined with her love for adventure, ensures that every charter aboard L’Hippocampe is safe, enjoyable, and truly unforgettable.

The 30.48m (100‘0“) luxury performance cruiser L´ Hippocampe was built by Nautor´s Swan at their Pietarsaari shipyard in Finland in 2008. She is a pedigree sailing yacht with an elegant interior and exterior design by revered design house
German Frers. In 2023, she underwent an extensive technical refit and is now in a top tier condition, ready to take her charter guests on new sailing adventures in comfort and style. L´ Hippocampe was built to be easy to sail and offers excellent
sail handling. The yacht easily reaches speeds of 10 knots+ and regularly achieves 240 miles of sailing in a day. Modified from the Swan 100S version, she features a coach roof raised at the front, giving additional forward-facing salon windows and an additional 5in of headroom in the engine room.
