Scott grew up in Ohio where he spent every summer on the water sailing and boating. On family trips they sailed extensively in the Caribbean, Florida and the Northeast. Loving the sea, Scott attended the New York Maritime College to pursue his dream. With over 20 years’ experience since college, Scott has worked on tug boats, cargo ships, passenger vessels and yachts. For the last 15 years Scott has Captained several large private and charter yachts cruising from the Pacific Northwest to the Persian Gulf and all points in between. Yachting has been the highlight of his career for the fascinating people and amazing places he has been exposed to, plus the many friendships made which span the globe. When not working, he enjoys travel, cycling and yes - spending time on the water!

Matt was fortunate to grow up on the small island of Union Island in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, nestled in the picturesque southern Caribbean. Raised in this natural paradise, he developed a deep and lasting connection to the sea. He is experienced in a range of water-based activities, including sailing, surfing, and free diving. Fishing is a particular area of focus, combining technical skill with a deep understanding of the ocean. His time at sea reflects a consistent commitment to marine environments and water-based pursuits. His journey at sea isn’t just about professional growth, but personal fulfillment too and he looks forward to where this career path will take him. Matt lives by the hustle, enjoys being part of a team and strives to keep guests entertained whilst onboard Lucky Lady.

His fun, energetic, and positive attitude towards both aspects of work and life is a great addition to Lucky Lady and he is looking forward to bringing that to guests time on board!

After several years working as a Nanny, as well as working in events and sales she decided she wanted to expand on her hospitality career. She has always loved the idea of yachting and providing guests with the best possible experiences. In her free time, she loves to travel, see friends and family, enjoys keeping fit and looking after her animals. Sophie has been working on yachts for over a year now and has loved every minute! If you’re looking to share a laugh Sophie will be sure to provide your spirits with some humour!

Originally from Split, Croatia, Marino has a strong background in hospitality and service. He began his career working on commercials before transitioning into the yachting industry, where he has now spent over three years. During this time, he has worked on large superyachts over 70 meters, gaining valuable experience in high-end service, professionalism, and teamwork in fast-paced environments. Marino is an active and motivated person who enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle through snowboarding, skiing, gym training, and padel tennis. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, traveling, playing chess, and meeting new people from different cultures. Marino adapts easily, works well within a team, and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service onboard. Marino is excited to be part of the Lucky Lady crew and is always happy to help make your time onboard unforgettable.

He grew up in Ohio racing sailing boats on small lakes. He later took to the Great Lakes and eventually the ocean. His sailing has taken him to the Med, Asia, South Pacific, Alaska, and the Caribbean to name a few. However, he has put up the sails for now and prefers the larger engine room spaces of motor yachts as his office. Prior to a career change into yachting full time, Dan graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in International Business. He worked for five years at GE Capital working as an auditor and underwriter on assignments all over the world including 3 years in Bangkok, Thailand. Now West Palm Beach is where he, his wife, and two children call home. Dan has a single engine private pilot’s license, speaks Spanish and Thai, He is a terrible golfer, cycles and is an adventurous eater and traveler. Chances are if you can find him on board he is thinking about food or his family while improving life onboard M/Y Lucky Lady.

After 4+ years on board Lucky Lady, Caitlin is pretty much a part of the furniture! Growing up in the sunny Bay of Plenty on the coast of the North Island, New Zealand, the sea and sun lifestyle was a part of everyday living. Caitlin’s childhood with her three siblings was spent adventure-seeking and exploring the outdoors and enjoying large family gatherings at their beach house. She earned a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design at Massey University, Wellington. Fresh out of university, Caitlin worked in a marketing and branding agency. There she was in her element, creating and implementing new marketing and promotional material. In 2015 she was ready to see more and do more, so she booked a one-way ticket to the South of France and hasn’t looked back since! Caitlin loves the fast pace of a charter while working together with a team whose common goal is to exceed the charter guests’ expectations. This bubbly and enthusiastic Kiwi girl loves to have fun, yet get the job done in a professional manner. Caitlin strives to go above and beyond to make things extra special for her guests.

Wayne was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa. He grew up loving anything water related and was an avid water skier from a very young age. He studied at the University of Pretoria where he received his BIS degree in Multimedia followed by a year and half in the related industry but there was always something missing in his life. He wanted to follow his dreams of seeing and exploring the world. He sold all his possessions and spent his savings to get started in yachting. After a couple of months, Wayne made his way to the Caribbean on a small 46ft Yacht that left Cape Town in 2009. It was from there where he got his first job on a luxury Sail Yacht and has never looked back. Wayne likes scuba diving, wakeboarding, snorkelling, hiking and a new passion discovered in California, snowboarding. He loves tinkering and is always on top of new gadgets that come out in the market. Wayne looks forward to meeting the LUCKY LADY guests and making sure they have the best experience possible onboard. Hobbies: SCUBA diving & snorkelling, hiking & camping, motorcycle touring, bass fishing tech gadgets

During that time, he has cruised everywhere from Mexico and the Caribbean to the Maldives and Scotland. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he previously spent winter seasons working in the Austrian Alps. Originally from Adelaide, Australia, James grew up spending holidays on the Murray River and the Fleurieu Peninsula. While his family and many lifelong friends remain in Australia, he now lives in the Thames Valley, west of London, with his wife Megan. Hames recently completed a Half Ironman and ran the Cape Town Marathon. He brings energy, knowledge, and a positive attitude to Lucky Lady and is always willing to go above and beyond to create exceptional guest experiences. Hobbies: Snowboarding, fitness and music.

Bryce brings over 10 years of experience in the yachting industry to Lucky Lady and a passion for creating fresh, seasonal cuisine inspired by the destinations he has been fortunate to discover during his travels. He enjoys showcasing local ingredients in his dishes and tailoring charter menus to each guest's preferences, creating memorable dining experiences along the way. Outside the galley, Bryce enjoys surfing, hiking, photography, and exploring new destinations worldwide. His friendly nature and attention to detail help ensure every meal on board is both relaxed and memorable.
