Dimitris is a professional skipper with over three years of hands-on experience operating speedboats and sailing yachts. He possesses valid licences for driving cars and motorcycles, along with certification to handle speedboats and an open sea sailing qualification. In addition, he has taken part in yacht repair work, which has strengthened his technical know-how and deepened his confidence in his abilities.

“I’m drawn to the sense of freedom that comes with driving a speedboat, along with the duty of guiding each trip safely from start to finish. Just as much, I enjoy creating memorable moments for guests as we cruise along stunning coastlines.”

“MAESTRO offers a wide range of water toys, and honestly, I enjoy every one of them. If I had to choose favourites, I’d pick the jetski and the SUP, since they bring extra energy and fun to each trip while still keeping the experience safe and well balanced for our guests on the water.”

Dimitris Daskalakis
Pilot
Argyris is a skilled Chief Officer with experience on sailing and speed boats in the Mediterranean, as well as on tankers across the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Strong in navigation, maritime law, and communication, he holds multiple licenses and is an RYA jet ski instructor. He brings a friendly, energetic presence onboard, characterized by his kind and respectful behaviour. Argyris joined MAESTRO in winter 2024 and played an active role in her refit. He is a fan of Milos in the Cyclades but also enjoys the calm seas of the Ionian. Argyris loves organizing guest activities and pays close attention to every detail. Outside of yachting, he is a snowboarding enthusiast and actively practices Tae Kwon Do.
How do you get people to feel safe / keen to try out a new watersport?
"I make guests feel safe and excited to try a new watersport by giving clear, calm instructions and demonstrating the activity myself first. I am patient and willing to assist as many times as needed, ensuring fun with maximum safety."

"I would proactively identify the guest’s preferences in advance to create a truly personalized experience. Based on these insights, I would design an elegant setup using carefully selected decorations such as balloons or flowers. Together with the chef, we would arrange a surprise cake and complete the moment with refined celebratory music, ensuring a memorable and thoughtful guest experience."

"As it would be their first day on board, I would prepare a refreshing welcome beverage to help them unwind after their journey. Once they felt comfortable and at ease, I would give them a short orientation tour of the yacht before personally escorting them to their cabins."

Fluent in English with some German, and specializing in Mediterranean and Asian cuisine—along with strong dessert skills—he brings creativity, energy, and high standards to every meal. He is passionate about creating memorable tasting journeys and ensuring guests never forget his dishes. Panos holds a speedboat license and enjoys watersports, travels, and, of course, discovering new flavours. He joined MAESTRO in 2025 and has since left a lasting impression on many clients.

Vasilis Tsokos

Sakis is a passionate professional with a background in hotel and restaurant service since 2002. His passion for watersports eventually pushed him to focus on this area, and he went on to earn his professional ski instructor licence after completing training at the wellknown Lolos Ski Centre in Athens. Since then, Sakis has worked on deck and has been a key part of many successful charters. He is known as the silent power on board-with a strong, character that brings calm confidence to every situation. As an RYA jet ski instructor, he knows that safety is the foundation for delivering unique watersports experiences for guests of all ages, both children and adults. An athlete and senior yoga practitioner, his skills in meditation and focus enhance his dynamic approach to watersports. His favourite water toy is the jetsurf, which, as he says, is all about having fun while always prioritizing safety and responsibility.
