Captain Iakovos is a seasoned seafarer holding a Class A Captain’s Diploma from the Merchant Marine Academy of Syros, along with all essential certifications for onboard safety, including STCW, firefighting, medical care, and First Aid. He also holds a fast boat license, as well as Open Water Diving and Emergency First Response certifications.
Before joining the yachting industry, Iakovos built a solid career in coastal shipping, where he gained extensive experience navigating challenging conditions and honing his leadership skills. Known for his professionalism, sense of duty, and ability to perform under pressure, he ensures safe operations and first-class service on every voyage.
Outside of his professional life, Iakovos enjoys an active lifestyle, with passions that include diving, water sports, swimming, football, gym training, table tennis, and even practical shooting. With a strong passion for hospitality and service, Nikol discovered early on her natural talent for connecting with people and creating memorable guest experiences. She began her career in the restaurant sector, excelling as a store manager and proving her ability to deliver outstanding service while leading and motivating her team. Drawn to the sea, she transitioned into yachting as a stewardess on the 40m Amez, where she quickly found her true calling.
Over the years, Nikol has built valuable experience on both private and charter yachts, including Sole di Mare, Anasa, Paris, Princes L, and Amez. Today, as Chief Stewardess onboard M/Y MAMMA MIA, she combines her enthusiasm, professionalism, and leadership skills to ensure each charter runs flawlessly and every guest leaves with lasting memories.
Outside of her role, Nikol enjoys TRX training, hiking, and dedicating time to caring for stray animals, reflecting both her active lifestyle and compassionate spirit.

Christos began his professional path by graduating from Vocational High School with a degree in plumbing before pursuing a career at sea. He holds certificates in professional fishing and as an assistant diver, along with a speedboat license, equipping him with a solid technical and practical background for life onboard.
Disciplined and hardworking, Christos is eager to expand his skills and always ready to support his team in overcoming challenges to ensure smooth operations and successful charters. His passion for the sea extends beyond work, as he enjoys fishing, diving, and working out, pursuits that reflect his energetic and determined character.

Christos Stathis
Deckhand
Dimitris is an ambitious and motivated maritime professional currently serving as Deckhand onboard MAMMA MIA. With formal maritime training and hands-on experience across both private yachts and commercial vessels, he brings a structured, safety-focused, and disciplined approach to the deck department.
Having previously served as Deckhand on a 50m private yacht and as a Deck Cadet and Engine Wiper on commercial vessels, Dimitris has developed strong seamanship skills, operational awareness, and the ability to perform efficiently under pressure. His experience includes mooring operations, deck maintenance, safety procedures, and supporting bridge operations.
Currently advancing his studies at GMC Maritime Academy, Dimitris is committed to continuous professional development within the maritime industry. His strong work ethic, team-oriented mindset, and positive attitude contribute to a collaborative and efficient onboard environment.
With additional experience in hospitality management ashore, he understands service standards and guest interaction, adding value during charter operations onboard MAMMA MIA.

Paraskevi brings fresh energy and dedication to the yachting industry, having recently graduated with a degree in Maritime Studies. She began her career last year as a Stewardess onboard the 50m Sahab IV, where she quickly developed her skills and gained valuable hands-on experience.
This season, she joins the crew of M/Y MAMMA MIA with a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure. Her positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and excellent interpersonal skills ensure she adapts seamlessly to the yacht’s dynamic environment while always remaining attentive to guest needs.
In her free time, Paraskevi enjoys swimming, a hobby that reflects her natural connection to the sea and her active lifestyle.

Chef Stratos brings an outstanding culinary background to M/Y MAMMA MIA, elevating the onboard experience with exquisite gastronomy. Passionate about his craft and respectful of the ingredients he works with, Stratos is known for his discipline, precision, and creativity in the kitchen.
He has worked in several prestigious establishments, including Odori Vermuteria di Atene, Principote Mykonos, I Frati Athens, Meraki London, Hytra Athens, and Moorings Vouliagmeni, where he mastered the art of gourmet cuisine and refined service. Guests onboard can look forward to menus that combine innovation with luxury, tailored to their preferences for a truly memorable dining experience.
Outside of the galley, Stratos enjoys kickboxing and fishing, activities that reflect both his energetic spirit and his close connection to the sea. His passion and expertise ensure that every meal onboard MAMMA MIA is a highlight of the charter journey.

Stratos Spilidis

Dimitris pursued his engineering studies at the Merchant Marine Academy in Athens (Aspropyrgos) and went on to build a solid career in shipping, serving more than a decade on container vessels. In 2018 he earned his Engineer Class A’ Diploma, a milestone that paved the way for his transition into the yachting industry.
He began his yachting journey as 2nd Engineer onboard the 70m Suerte, before stepping up as Chief Engineer on the 55m Shaf, where he gained significant experience on both charter and private yachts. In early 2024, Dimitris joined M/Y MAMMA MIA as Chief Engineer, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and the adaptability to excel in every technical aspect of the yacht.
Beyond his professional life, Dimitris is passionate about traveling and swimming—pursuits that reflect his adventurous spirit and connection to the sea. His dedication, expertise, and enthusiasm make him a valuable asset to the crew, ensuring smooth operations and the highest standards of safety for all onboard.

Katerina’s background in sports and sailing has shaped her into a dynamic and versatile crew member. She holds a degree in Physical Education & Sport Science with a primary specialization in Sailing, and was a proud member of the Greek National Sailing Team before becoming a certified Sailing Coach. In addition to her skipper license, she also holds a speedboat operator license and a lifeguard certification, further showcasing her skills on and around the water.
During the summer months, Katerina loves exploring the Aegean on her own sailing boat, while in the off-season she enjoys hiking with her friends and her beloved dog, Lisa. With her warm personality, big smile, and passion for the sea, she ensures guests always feel welcome and enjoy their time onboard M/Y MAMMA MIA.

Katerina Katsimicha

Antonis is a disciplined and motivated maritime professional with a strong academic and practical foundation in navigation, safety management, and vessel operations. A graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nautical Science, he has served as a Second Officer for S. Livanos Hellas, where he was responsible for navigation, safety compliance, and bridge operations on ocean-going vessels.
Before joining the yachting industry, Antonis completed his national service at the Hellenic Navy Helicopter Base, further strengthening his leadership, discipline, and technical expertise. His background also includes extensive hands-on training in ship handling, maneuvering simulations, bridge teamwork, and shipboard safety.
Antonis holds multiple maritime certifications, including Ship Security Officer, Shipboard Safety Officer, and Speedboat License, making him well-qualified to manage the chase boat operations with precision and professionalism. His calm demeanor, reliability, and proactive approach ensure safe and seamless guest transfers and support to the main vessel.
