Chef Niki Mazzilli, born in Sicily in 1979, joins M/Y MANU with over twenty years of culinary experience and a rich background in both land-based and yachting roles. A proud Sicilian, he is a champion of one of Italy’s most esteemed regional cuisines, with deep expertise in traditional fish dishes and Mediterranean flavours.
Niki has served as Chef on board the 24m motor-sailer SILVER STAR and the 26m motor-sailer ANGELIQUE, where he earned excellent references for his professionalism, creativity, and guest satisfaction. Prior to his yachting career, he led kitchens in several respected restaurants in Palermo, refining a style that balances authenticity and elegance.
He holds STCW, HACCP certification, and is a registered seaman with a nautical licence. Known for his calm demeanour, high standards, and tailored approach to guest preferences, Niki brings warmth, skill, and Sicilian flair to every table.
He speaks Italian, and has working knowledge of English and French.
Italian national, born in Sicily in 1995, Agostino is a discreet and respectful deckhand with hands-on experience on yachts of similar size and type, including a Mangusta 92 charter vessel (M/Y Esperance). Described by MANU’s captain as organised, courteous, and eager to learn, Agostino brings a grounded and meticulous approach to his work on deck and in the engine room alike.
His background includes several years as an auto mechanic, followed by consistent experience as a deckhand and tender driver aboard both private and charter yachts — motor and sail — as well as a period as a yacht maintenance technician in a shipyard. His tasks have ranged from general deck duties and manoeuvres to guest tender operations, mooring assistance, and routine upkeep of onboard systems.
Agostino holds full STCW certification (4 basic modules + Security Awareness), a Seaman’s Book (1st category, rating: “Giovanotto di Coperta”), and is registered with the Italian maritime authorities. He is in possession of a valid passport and a full driving licence (categories A, B, C, E + CQC).
A quiet presence on board, he is hands-on, reliable, and genuinely interested in building his skills in yachting.
Agostino is Italian mother tongue and speaks basic English. He is a non-smoker and has no visible tattoos.
Master 3000 GT – Italian & MCA CEC
With over 30 years of hands-on experience across both charter and private vessels, Captain Corrado Snaiderbaur brings a wealth of expertise and reliability to MANU, the Mangusta 80’. A native of Liguria, Corrado holds dual Master 3000 GT certifications from the Italian Maritime Authority and the UK’s MCA, along with a robust portfolio of STCW and IMO courses.
Having commanded prestigious yachts from the fleets of Riva, Sanlorenzo, Rossinavi, AB Yachts, and Benetti, Corrado has cruised extensively throughout the Mediterranean and the Middle East. His career has seen him lead both high-performance vessels and classic models, managing refits, crewing, budgeting, engineering, and guest service to an exceptional standard.
His engineering proficiency spans major engine brands (MTU, MAN, Caterpillar), onboard systems, and technical troubleshooting—making him especially well-suited for a performance yacht like MANU. Corrado’s leadership style is direct, service-focused, and grounded in operational efficiency. He is fluent in Italian and English, with working knowledge of French and Spanish.
Passionate about hospitality, Corrado ensures a refined yet relaxed onboard atmosphere, tailored to guest preferences. Off-duty, he enjoys fitness, riding his Harley, and gardening at his home in Zoagli.
