First Mate, Cenk is 28 years of age and hails from Muğla.
He has been with MARE NOSTRUM since her launch, starting his career in yacht charter as a deckhand back in 2008.
Cenk is currently working towards gaining his captain’s licence. He is also keen to build his English language skills, which are currently at the intermediate
level.

Zekeriya is a highly experienced chef who takes immense pride in creating first class cuisine. Born in Aadapazarı, near Istanbul, Zekeriya began his studies in the culinary arts as a young man with plenty of ambition and a good deal of creative talent. During his close to 35-year career, he has received business references from the Hotel Ramada Istanbul, the Ceylan Intercontinental Istanbul, the
Rixos Elysium and the Hotel Kempinski Kuwait .
Zekeriya, who has been with MARE NOSTRUM since 2010, aims to offer the best in Mediterranean cuisine with an international flair.
MARE NOSTRUM’s “Food and Beverage Manager”, Turgay joined the crew in 2010 with a long and impressive resume – testimony to the many years has spent both
within Turkey and abroad gaining skills and knowledge in the hospitality industry. Born in Istanbul, as a young man, Turgay began his career at the Kempinski Dome Hotel before moving on to more challenging positions within some of the best-known international chains such as the JW Marriott Group, Intercontinental Hotels, Red Hotels, Crown Plaza and Ritz Carlton.
Turgay, an Advanced Sommelier, belongs to the Turkish Sommeliers Association and is also a member of the “Chaine Des Rotisseurs”. While working in the USA, he was awarded one Michelin Star by the Michelin Experts. Turgay speaks fluent English.

Dali is responsible for housekeeping on the MARE NOSTRUM and has held this position for 4 years.
Originally Georgian .Her references include the Four Seasons Hotel, Istanbul and the Hilton Hotel, Istanbul where she gained a considerable amount of knowledge
regarding the hospitality industry.
As a positive and helpful team member, Dali –– attends to her work with care and skill. She speaks intermediate level English.

Burak the deckhand has been with MARE NOSTRUM since her launch in 2008. He is a positive and energetic character, always ready with a smile and happy to provide assistance where required. He is intermediate in English and is an invaluable member of the team.
Working his first years as a deckhand on motor yachts starting 2016. Ahmet is from Adana Turkey and a highly enthusiastic young and cheerful worker.
Last year was his his first year on Mare Nostrum and he looks forward to meeting all the new and wonderful guests to be arriving for this season.
