Chef Cleo is young, innovative and eager to present herself through her culinary creations. At the young age of 12 she already voiced her ambition to become a chef, and her culinary journey started with obtaining her City and Guilds Food and Beverage Diploma. Hereafter she worked a season in the yachting industry before Covid hit and she had to return to South Africa. Restaurants such as the world-famous Grande Roche, Nederburg Estate and Waterford Estate were amongst the places where she honed her skills for two years. Her love for travel and people escalated her return to the yachting industry where she already has three seasons under her belt as sole chef, crew chef and chef/stew on yachts ranging from 30-50m. She loves to please her guests and make their experiences memorable by delivering a high standard of culinary delight while also presenting them with a little bit of where she comes from. She thrives socially as she has a genuine love for connecting with people from across the world.
