Lucy grew up in Southampton, UK, surrounded by the marine world thanks to her parents’ careers, so life on the water has always felt like home. After studying Fashion Buying & Merchandising in Manchester, she spent several years in London working as a merchandiser on Savile Row and Jermyn Street, where she developed a natural understanding of luxury and attention to detail.
In 2021, she swapped city life for yachting, drawn by the adventure and variety it offers. Known for her happy, smiley nature and strong work ethic, Lucy brings experience from a wide range of yachts and a genuine love of meeting new people, ensuring every charter guest feels relaxed, welcomed, and well looked after.

Captain Lars, a seasoned mariner hailing from the heartland of America, Kansas City, Kansas, began his journey into the world of yachting unexpectedly during a gap year adventure in 1986. Little did he know that this temporary detour would evolve into a lifelong passion that would anchor him to the sea forever. Having spent 37 years in the yachting industry, Lars has commanded both sailing and motor yachts, earning him a reputation as a versatile and skilled leader. As a captain who leads from the front, Lars is actively involved in every aspect of the guest experience, from organizing exhilarating water sports activities to orchestrating unforgettable shore excursions. His warm demeanor and genuine enthusiasm create an atmosphere of relaxation, where guests feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they step on board.

Andy Lytle was born in the UK and grew up in the West Country, by the water. His family are sailing fanatics and he was messing about in boats before he could walk. After completing a degree in Genetics at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne Andy’s inate passion for the sea overruled and he chose to pursue a career in the yachting industry. His first position was as Deckhand on the 55m Schooner ‘Adela’ and he has diligently worked his way up the industry, working on well known charter yachts.
After 20 years, thousands of sea miles and a wealth of experience, he is now the Captain of MAXIMUS and is ready to continue the high standards and reputation of the yacht.

Sarah brings warmth, creativity, and a deep sense of care to her role as Chef aboard MAXIMUS. Raised on a family farm in the snowy plains of Saskatchewan, she developed a love of honest, hearty food and learned the importance of resilience and hard work early on.
Known for her funny and caring nature, Sarah is an integral part of the onboard experience. Her friends describe her as someone who brings a positive attitude and a calm, uplifting energy wherever she goes. Whether she's whipping up a gourmet meal or joining guests for a morning yoga session, her enthusiasm is infectious.
On charter, Sarah thrives in the positive energy that flows between the crew and guests. She loves curating menus that blend local flavors with guest preferences, always aiming to deliver good food and good vibes.

Originally from the scenic Devon-Cornwall border near Dartmoor, Hayley brings over a decade of top-tier yachting experience and warm British charm to her role as Chief Stewardess. She began her yachting career in 2015 and has since worked aboard renowned vessels.
Hayley is known for her positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to create a relaxed yet refined onboard atmosphere. She’s passionate about providing tailored guest experiences and thrives on the variety that each charter brings – especially the chance to get creative with new themes and setups.
Outside of work, Hayley loves travel, live music, skiing, and is currently taking Spanish and tennis lessons. She’s also a fan of a good dad joke (though she may pretend otherwise!) and is always ready to lead the interior team with both professionalism and a touch of fun.

Millie grew up in a sailing family and was practically raised on the water. With a mother that used to be in yachting and a brother who’s now a captain, it’s no surprise she found her own path to the sea. After gaining hospitality experience as a head waitress at a ski resort, Millie joined the yachting industry in 2021, bringing her vibrant personality and love of service with her.
Millie is known for her fun-loving, positive energy, and always ends a long season with a big smile and great vibes. She especially enjoys the creative side of chartering – from themed events to setting up beautiful guest experiences.

After spending two exhilarating seasons aboard charter boats in Croatia, he found himself captivated by the allure the yachting industry and the thrill of exploration it offered. A man of varied interests, William finds solace and joy in the serenity of gardening, the companionship of dog walks, and the freedom of van life exploration.
William's magnetic personality is further accentuated by his penchant for dad jokes and an impressive repertoire of facts, making him a delightful companion both on and off duty.

Connor grew up on the coast of Maine in a seafaring family, his dad is a boat captain and his mom is from a lobster fishing background. He studied Oceanography at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and began his yachting career in 2021.
With a deep love for the water and a strong work ethic, Connor has sailed aboard vessels such as the classic GLEAM, and SCHOONER SURPRISE. He’s passionate about sailing, surfing, diving, and anything outdoors.
Friends describe him as upbeat, helpful, and always eager to learn. On board MAXIMUS, Connor brings a great attitude, strong technical skills, and a genuine passion for sharing the magic of sailing with guests.

Oliver “Ollie” Powell was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, where growing up on the water shaped his passion for sailing and engineering. Raised in a close-knit family, he spent much of his childhood exploring the coastline and life at sea.
Ollie began his yachting career in 2010 after working on local ferries and went on to earn his SV Chief Engineer 500 ticket, alongside a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Otago. Calm under pressure and easy-going by nature, he brings over a decade of experience to MAXIMUS and takes great pride in maintaining her to the highest standards, ensuring a safe and seamless charter experience for all on board.
