I was born in Nassau, Bahamas, and grew up surrounded by marinas and passing yachts, which sparked my passion for life at sea. That early exposure led me to pursue a career in yachting, where I’ve combined a love for adventure with a commitment to professionalism. As Chief Officer, I start each day ensuring the decks are immaculate, briefing the deck crew, and coordinating everything from tender runs and water sports to guest activities and safety operations. My role requires seamless teamwork with the Captain and interior staff to ensure that every detail of the guest experience is handled with precision. What I enjoy most about yachting is the balance between adventure and calm. Waking up in a new part of the world, from the dramatic Corinth Canal to the tranquil Greek islands, is an experience few get to have. I also enjoy meeting people from all over the world and making their time on board special. When I’m off duty, I like restoring vintage pieces and occasionally cooking—but keep that last part a secret!

Born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Being half Dutch, half American ive always had a blend of cultures that gave me a wider perspective and an adventurous spirit from a young age. At 25, I was working in a rigging company in Palma and watching all the yachts come and go. I had a craving for something more dynamic, more global and yachting offered just that. When the first opportunity appeared, it didn’t take much thinking to take a leap and join the industry.
Although no day in yachting is ever the same, my typical day onboard consists of navigation planning and all watersports operations onboard from tenders to the toys. My favourite part of working on a yacht is that you’re never far from a laugh or a smile. Whether it be with guests or crew, there’s often a story or moment to share that will surely brighten your day.
Outside of work I play the handpan, which I find balances the structure of my professional life with creativity and calm.
My all time favourite place so far is Grenada, in the Caribbean. Some of my favourite memories in yachting took place exploring the lush, tropical forests, the underwater monuments, hiking to remote beaches and meeting the smiling locals.

Jenna grew up on the East Coast of South Africa. Straight out of High School she worked in the hospitality industry at a couple of Country Clubs in the United States for three years. She then got an opportunity to work on a Cruise Ship where she found her love for the sea. After a year on Seabourn Cruises she decided to give yachting a go. She started as Third Stew on a 50m and worked her way up to Chief Stew in 5 years on the same boat. She is always looking for a challenge, loves to learn and grow within the industry. In her spare time Jenna loves to scuba dive. She did her advanced diving course in Vanuatu in the South Pacific Ocean. She also loves to travel, go on adventures, she likes hiking, but most importantly she loves spending time with her friends and family.

Originally hailing from Bonnie, Scotland, I’ve joined yachting in which always provides a sense of adventure and a life where everyday is different from the last. A typical day for me revolves around keeping the vessel as smooth running as possible. Whether it is making sure the water toys are ready for use, the air-conditioning is nice and cool inside or the engines are running smoothly.
The daily challenges of operating in different environments and cultures around the world is what fuels my passion for my career choice, it also allows me try different beers from around the globe.
Patagonia has had the most breathtaking scenery and adventure I have been on in my yachting career, from standing above glaciers to dipping my head under the icy waterfalls. A once in a lifetime experience!
