His career includes long-term positions on well-regarded yachts, where he has successfully overseen major refits, surveys, and complex engineering projects. Known for his proactive mindset and structured approach, Martin excels at implementing efficient systems and preventative maintenance programs that ensure smooth operations behind the scenes.
A natural problem-solver with a calm and approachable personality, he is a valued member of any crew. Growing up by the sea, Martin brings a genuine passion for yachting, complemented by an active lifestyle centered around watersports and adventure.

Martin Falzi

With over 25 years of yachting experience, having progressed from deckhand to Captain. Holding an MCA Master 3000 GT, he is a confident leader with extensive knowledge of the Mediterranean and a strong background in both charter operations and refit management .
Calm, professional, and highly personable, Giles is known for his excellent communication skills and ability to create a smooth, enjoyable experience for both guests and crew. His hands-on technical knowledge and commitment to high standards ensure every charter runs seamlessly.
Outside of yachting, he enjoys kite surfing, windsurfing, and golf.

Giles Woodhead
Captain
Tya is a dynamic and versatile young officer combining both deck and engineering capabilities. Holding a Master 500GT and Chief Engineer 750kW, she brings a rare dual-skillset that is particularly valuable on a yacht of this size.
Her experience spans private and commercial vessels worldwide, including the Mediterranean, French Polynesia, Australia, and New Zealand. She has held positions as Captain, First Officer, and Engineer, demonstrating strong adaptability and leadership from an early stage in her career.
Tya is practical, hands-on, and highly motivated, with strong technical knowledge, good crew management skills, and a positive, energetic attitude onboard.
Outside of work, she is passionate about watersports and the ocean - particularly surfing, where she competed at national level in France - as well as scuba diving and sailing.

Tya Escarguel
First Officer
Zarick has been working as Head Chef on board yachts since 2019, combining his passion for food with his love of travel. Originally from Durban, he brings a vibrant and globally inspired approach to his cuisine on board M/Y METSUYAN IV.
His cooking style blends classical techniques with modern influences, creating refined, flavour-driven dishes tailored to guest preferences. Zarick particularly enjoys sourcing fresh, local ingredients and visiting regional markets, allowing him to incorporate authentic flavours into his menus throughout the season.
Creative and adaptable, he is dedicated to delivering high-quality dining experiences that enhance every charter.
Outside of the galley, Zarick enjoys travelling, exploring new cuisines, photography, football, and spending time outdoors.
Zarick looks forward to sharing his passion for food with guests on board this season.
