Kevin holds a Royal YachtMaster Offshore certificate and has spent years working his way through the ranks of professional crewing, earning his Captain’s ticket in 2017. His experience spans the globe — from Australia, The Mediterranean to the Caribbean — and includes time as First Officer aboard large motor yachts for Royal Families, as well as Captaining Lagoon 77s and Sunreef 80s. Stepping up to the helm of Miia, a Sunreef 88 Ultima, is a natural progression for a captain who has built his career on this class of vessel.
Kevin grew up spending summers on his parents’ charter yacht in the British Virgin Islands, giving him an insider’s knowledge that no chart can teach — the hidden anchorages, the best reefs, the spots most guests never find. He holds his Divemaster certification and is genuinely excited to share the underwater world of the BVI and Caribbean with guests who want to explore below the surface.

Nicole grew up in Central Florida with a passion for food that has taken her around the world and into some of the finest culinary training programs available. She studied at the Ashburton Chefs Academy and the Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy, and most recently completed two weeks at the Italian Culinary Institute — perfect timing for a summer spent cruising the waters of Italy with Miia’s owners before the yacht makes her charter debut in the Caribbean.
Ten years chartering the Caribbean from top to bottom, followed by a Mediterranean season, means Nicole understands exactly what guests want after a long day on the water — food that is fresh, local, beautifully plated, and genuinely memorable. She has also trained alongside Below Deck chefs, refining her presentation to a television standard. In her spare time Nicole dives, hikes, and explores wherever the charter takes her. She holds a Captain’s license in her own right, making her equally comfortable on deck when needed.requirements including gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, food allergies, and specialty diets, and she has executed large events and celebrations onboard for up to 15 guests with exceptional feedback.
