Captain Travis Ahlf grew up in Seattle and began his seagoing career in 2005 aboard cruise ships, where he developed a strong foundation in guest service, operations, and life at sea before joining the yachting industry in 2009. Since then, he has steadily worked his way up through the ranks under the mentorship of highly respected Captains, ultimately earning his MCA Master 3,000GT license and command of large motor yachts. With extensive experience leading busy owner programs, high-end charters, and complex operations, Travis is known for his calm command presence, operational precision, and hands-on leadership style. His welcoming demeanor, enthusiasm for travel, and ability to anticipate guest needs make him exceptionally well-suited to delivering seamless and unforgettable experiences onboard.
Having cruised extensively throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Atlantic, Northern Europe, U.S. West Coast, New England, Alaska, and Iceland, Travis brings a global perspective and a genuine passion to every itinerary. Now based in South Florida and a proud father, he values creating a safe, positive onboard culture while consistently exceeding guest expectations from the moment they step aboard. Denzil was born and raised in Jamaica, where his hands-on mindset and strong work ethic developed early. With a background in commercial marine engineering and over a decade of experience in yachting, he brings a calm, capable presence to the engine room and beyond. Having worked his way up to Chief Engineer on vessels up to 45m and served as 2nd Engineer on yachts up to 70m, Denzil combines technical expertise with a practical, solutions-driven approach to ensure everything onboard runs smoothly and efficiently.
Onboard, Denzil takes great pride in maintaining the yacht to the highest standards, ensuring safety, reliability, and comfort for both guests and crew. While much of his work happens behind the scenes, his impact is felt throughout every aspect of the vessel. Outside of engineering, he enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and embracing a balanced lifestyle. Rahman’s background started with commercial vessels before moving to yachts. He approaches every challenge with professionalism, precision, and an unwavering commitment to safe maritime operations.
With extensive experience as Chief Engineer, Rahman is known for his proactive maintenance, problem-solving mindset, and ability to keep complex systems running seamlessly during demanding trips, crossings, and shipyard periods. Beyond his impressive credentials, what truly sets Rahman apart is his positive attitude, quiet confidence, and team-oriented nature. A Johnson & Wales graduate with honors, Jake has a strong foundation in haute cuisine and menu development and now leads the galley onboard M/Y Miss Michelle, where he curates bespoke menus for guests while maintaining exceptional standards in quality, nutrition, and presentation.
Originally shaped by his early years working in fast-paced upscale kitchens in South Florida and the Bahamas, Jake developed a deep appreciation for fresh ingredients, global flavors, and the artistry behind every plate. His favorite part of the job is creating memorable dining experiences at sea—tailoring each dish to guest preferences and seeing their genuine enjoyment of his food. Guests will often find Dane at his best out on the water. whether running the chase boat, organizing watersports, or taking guests fishing and diving. He is passionate about creating memorable experiences and enjoys sharing his knowledge of the ocean in a relaxed and engaging way. Outside of yachting, Dane stays active with golf, tennis, hiking, and running, and he brings that same energy and team-oriented mindset to life onboard, making him a valued and approachable member of the crew.
