Born in Sydney, Australia, and raised in Melbourne, Captain Grant has called Mallorca home since 1995. With nearly three decades of experience in yachting, his journey began in 1996 with Dahm International and Jongert Sailing Yachts, where he developed his passion for the sea, navigation, and delivering unforgettable experiences to guests.
Throughout his career, Grant has been fortunate to participate in yacht deliveries, regattas, and extensive cruising, allowing him to explore some of the world’s most breathtaking destinations. From famous harbours to hidden gems, he takes pride in finding secret spots and surprising his guests with spectacular, unexpected locations. His philosophy is simple: there is always another option, and it can be even greater than the first expectation! Witnessing guests’ reactions as they discover new, untouched places is what he enjoys the most.
Beyond yachting, Grant has a deep love for music, playing the guitar, singing, and arranging music. A passionate tennis player, he considers it his strongest sport, but he also enjoys cycling, stand-up paddleboarding, and attending football matches—a newfound interest inspired by his son’s dedication to the sport.
A true global communicator, Grant speaks English and Spanish fluently, has a medium level of Italian and Brazilian Portuguese, and possesses a basic understanding of German.
With his extensive knowledge of cruising grounds, natural ability to adapt, and commitment to creating unique, tailor-made experiences, Captain Grant ensures that every journey is unforgettable, full of surprises, and beyond expectations.
