Professional experience:
Mauro was born in Italy in 1971. After attending the Institute of the Navy in La Maddalena, he initially worked for the Italian Navy on submarines, destroyers and minesweepers in international peacekeeping missions. In 1996, he also obtained the qualification for maschines up to 6000 hp.
Since 2006 he no longer works for the Navy, but as Chief Engineer in the yachting industry. First he worked for the Codecasa shipyard, where he was responsible for the yachts under construction.
He has worked on many different yachts of various sizes as Chief Engineer, which has led to his vast experience. Since 2025 he is on MR. T and ensures that everything runs smoothly from a technical point of view.

Maria is a seasoned stewardess with over 10 years of sea service, during which she has developed the qualities and expertise of a competitive and highly motivated professional. Working on both private and charter yachts, from small vessels to mega yachts, Maria has refined her skills, becoming a valued member of any team.
Her passion for sailing and the beauty of the sea has been a driving force throughout her career. Maria considers working on a yacht not just a job, but a dream, and she deeply appreciates the natural world that surrounds her. She is hardworking, energetic, and has a keen attention to detail, always ensuring the highest standards in service and care.
Maria’s determination, professionalism, and dedication to her job ensure she is an asset wherever she sails, consistently delivering excellent service with a smile and a spirit of excellence.

Rosalin was born in Italy in 1980. She completed an apprenticeship in the tourism sector at the University in Como and is therefore very familiar with guest services.
In 2015, she joined the yachting industry and has since worked as a stewardess on various yachts. Among others she was on the 76m MY BOADICEA and the 52m MY CIAO. In June 2024, Rosalin was appointed Chief Stewardess on board MR. T.
If guests have had a busy day, they can also benefit from Rosalin's massage skills. She enjoys practicing yoga and believes in maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Giuseppe was born in Venice, Italy. He studied in I.T Nautico. He is friendly, gentle and a very kind person. Everyone on board calls him "Pino". Throughout his childhood he knew that he wanted to start a career at sea, so he decided to follow his passion that took him to International sailing race. He has 15 years of experience from Yachting Industry within Mediterranean Sea, Caribbean and Bahamas. He is an all-rounded team player, he takes pride in his work and strive to achieve on the best. His safety conscious approach instils calm and confidence in both guests and crew.

Florin started his career as a deck cadet with the Grimaldi Group. During his 12 months as a cadet, he worked on both cargo and passenger ships. Florin continued his career in the same company as a 3rd officer, working on cargo vessels travelling all over the world. He gained a lot of experience during this time. This season will be his first time working on a yacht and Florin feels ready for the challenge. He is looking forward to supporting the crew of MR. T with his extensive maritime knowledge.

Paul, originally from South Africa, is an ambitious and hardworking individual who will be joining MR. T as the new Deckhand. With a solid understanding of deckhand duties and basic deck functions, he is eager to gain more experience in the industry. Paul thrives in structured environments, is highly organized, and works efficiently within a team. His excellent time management skills, reliability, and willingness to ask questions to ensure tasks are completed accurately set him apart.
Although early in his career, Paul is determined to work his way up the ranks. Calm under pressure, observant, and fit, he takes pride in delivering high-quality work and is committed to continuous learning and growth within the yachting industry. Paul is dedicated to achieving his goals and is ready to put in the hard work to get there.

Rachela started her career in 1990. She ran her own restaurants where she also functioned as chef. Before joining the yacht industry in 2009 on the 40mt private MY NEW VAGABUNDA she was executive chef in many restaurants in Italy and in the 5* “Grand Hotel Michelacci” where she specialized her skills in kosher food. She worked on several bigger private and commercial vessels as on the 27m MY “MALANDRINO”, 52m MY “DIONEA” and for 5 years on the 45m MY “GENISIS”. Having already been Chef onboard MR. T in 2020, she returned on board in summer 2024.

Professional experience I
Massimo comes on board with more than 30 years of experience as Captain. Before he joined the yachting industry in 1994, he had worked as windsurf and catamaran instructor and on-board sailing boats. Over the past three decades Massimo has worked as Captain on board motor yachts ranging from 28m – 63m, amongst others for 4 years on board the Feadship RAMSES, for 3 years on board the Azimut TOO LATE, for 3 years on board the Benetti MALANDRINO, for 1 year on board Benetti MIZAR, for five years on board the Rossi Navi RARITY. He also was relief captain on board 45m ICE LADY and 63m Rossi Navi UTOPIA IV. He joined MR. T in April 2019.
