Born in the south of Sweden, Oscar grew up sailing around the Swedish archipelago on his family’s boat enjoying water sports, sailing and fishing. It was no surprise he went on to obtain a degree in Nautical Science and later pursue a career in the maritime industry. He has extensively cruised the Eastern Mediterranean and the Maldives. Oscar loves to travel and recently spent a few months exploring the south of Africa, with Botswana being his favourite country. His time in Africa sparked an interest in wildlife photography. In his spare time Oscar enjoys diving and has been fortunate enough to dive in some of the most beautiful dive spots including Mexico, Dominican Republic, Thailand and the Maldives. He is also a very keen golfer, taking his clubs with him wherever he goes, allowing him to play courses around the world.

Katelyn comes from Durban, South African. She has worked in hospitality since 2009, starting as a waitress during her University years before eventually becoming the marketing manager for some of South Africa’s biggest nightclubs. Katelyn’s natural talent for providing a warm and happy atmosphere wherever she worked led her to join the yachting industry in 2013. Katelyn is passionate about her job and always strives to deliver an unforgettable experience on board for her guests. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring her surroundings, sampling local restaurants, and takes a keen interest in wine and cocktail making.

Carli was born and raised in Yorkshire, England. Prior to joining the yachting industry, she earned a degree in Economics from The University of Manchester and gained a job in commercial insurance. However, driven by a desire for adventure and new challenges, Carli transitioned into yachting in 2021. Over the past few years, she has worked her way up from Junior Stewardess to Second Stewardess, gaining invaluable experience on yachts ranging from 50 to 100 metres. Passionate about travel, Carli thrives on exploring new destinations and embracing diverse cultures — experiences that her career in yachting perfectly enables.

Manus is a Marine Engineer from a small fishing village in Ireland. He joined NAIA in 2022 thrives working at sea. Manus take a lot of pride in maintaining all systems to the highest standard, contributing to ensuring an outstanding experience for guests. When he's not on board you will find him fishing and sailing in his own boat at home.

Dede is from the North of Bali in Indonesia, where he lives with his large family. With a love for the water, Dede has been diving since 1988, when he started working for a dive shop in Bali. He quickly became a PADI Dive Instructor and shop manager before working as an onboard instructor on “live-a-board” dive boats throughout Indonesia. In 2006, Dede was employed as a local dive guide for PEGASO, NAIA’s former name. One thing led to another, and he is still with us to this day on NAIA. In his spare time Dede likes to walk and experience new places, whilst capturing everything on his camera.

Liam has been in the yachting industry since 2008 and has worked on a wide range of yachts. It’s no surprise his career has taken this path, following the same route as his two brothers! Starting as Deckhand and working his way up the ranks, Liam’s training has taken him around the world including more exotic locations such as the Seychelles, Maldives, Indian ocean and Indonesia. Alongside his busy charter seasons, Liam has completed many years of private charter, embarked on numerous Atlantic crossings and spent time in shipyards during maintenance periods, continually learning wherever her can. Liam is very keen on sports. At home in the UK he played regional level rugby. At sea, he loves partaking in watersports when he gets a chance to! Liam looks forward to welcoming guests on board NAIA and will ensure the service provided throughout the departments is always of the highest standard.

Born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, after high school, Sandy attended nautical college to complete an Engineering Cadetship. Sandy went on to work on oil tankers and commercial vessels, before transitioning into yachting. Sandy has spent the last 16 years working on yachts and holds a Chief Engineer Unlimited ticket. Positive, dependable, reliable, Sandy spends his free time with his wife and two boys at their home in Scotland.
