Owen grew up in Buckinghamshire, England and after finishing school he completed his Yachtmaster Offshore license and took a position skippering sailing yachts for various charter companies across the Mediterranean. He then spent the next few years very happily honing his navigation and watersports skills on the water in the summer and balancing his love of the mountains by working ski seasons in the Alps during the winter. Deciding to commit fully to his maritime career, he moved onto large motor yachts and began climbing the ranks from deckhand to chief officer. Owen has worked on a variety of vessels ranging from 50m to 74m and has had the pleasure of exploring some of the world’s most renowned cruising grounds. He his now greatly looking forward to delivering a fantastic yachting experience to the guests of NAIA and sharing his passion for the sea.
