Sakis was born and raised in the center of Macedonia, Greece, where Alexander the Great was also born. He joined his first ship at 18 years old in the commercial shipping industry as an engineer. Ten years later, Sakis decided to step into the luxury yachting industry on a Dutch new build. He has a passion for stunt bike riding, which he has been pursuing courageously for the past 10 years. This hobby has led Sakis to competing in motorcycle competitions and performing in stunt shows all over Greece. Sakis is also a fitness and health enthusiast, who cares deeply about exercise and healthy eating.

Born a Canarian to a Spanish farther and a English mother, Tom moved over to the UK at 8 years old. He was fortunate enough to experience many different cultures growing up, which is where his love for travelling stems from. On his leave, Tom is often not at home, instead he is exploring new worlds, learning history, meeting new people, hiking, and eating weird and wonderful foods!
Yachting has allowed tom to visit fantastic destinations across the world, work with like-minded people and has allowed him to develop a strong work ethic, whilst having the highest standards.

Joelle was born in a small farm town in the beautiful Drakensburg mountains of South Africa. She has undergone 3 years of extensive spa therapy training, where she trained and worked in high end clinics in the city of Pretoria, South Africa.
Joelle has a deep passion for the health and wellness industry, she strongly advocates for the wellbeing of her clients by always making them feel relaxed and comfortable in all treatment areas.
Joelle enjoys her free time by spending time outdoors in nature either hiking, exploring the natural world around her, or enjoying some relaxing yoga with a view!
Joelle has always loved the ocean, thus combing all aspects of what she loves into one is why she chose to become a spa stewardess.

Dipak is from Pokhara , Nepal and lives there with his wife and two children. He has spent 17 years in the yachting industry and he is a very friendly, energetic and a hard working person. He enjoys all forms of outdoor activities and loves working with people and trying new things with a positive outlook and a good sense of humor. He loves traveling to new places and watching movies and singing.

Johnny is from County Meath in Ireland and has been working on yachts on and off for the last 20 years. He started working on the former Grace E (50m) in 2007, moving on to the current Grace E or NAUTILUS as we now know it. He brings with him extensive engineering knowledge of the yacht. Before Johnny got into working on yachts full time he specialised in air conditioning on yachts (land based), mainly in Fort Lauderdale. Johnny enjoys travelling and exploring different places. In his free time, he likes to get outdoors and hikes and cycles to keep fit.

From a young age Frank had a passion for engines. At the age of 12 his father bought him his first motorbike which he thoroughly enjoyed riding. At 15 he started stock car racing which he continued for 3 years. He worked for a fuel company on leaving school but knew engines were his calling. Locally an apprenticeship became available to work on Land Rovers which taught him many new skills. He qualified as a level 3 motor mechanic after three years and after a further three years, decided he needed a new challenge. He is new to yachts but hopes to be a great asset to the team on NAUTILUS.

Mial grew up on the beautiful beaches of South Africa, bodyboarding and surfing. Before joining the yachting industry, he spent 10 years working in casinos around London and on board cruise ships. He joined yachting in 2008 in Qatar, and then went on to work throughout the Mediterranean and the USA. He has visited numerous countries during his yachting career. Mial has recently moved to the UK with his wife and daughter and in his free time enjoys spear fishing, golf, Muay Thai, fishing, surf-longboarding and hiking. He has hiked Kilimanjaro and plans to hike Hadrian’s wall soon!

Nick is from Johannesburg, South Africa. He has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys playing and watching a variety of sports. Back at home, Nick is an avid golfer and spends his free time interning at his local golf course. Prior to joining the yachting industry, he completed a degree in Business Management, but his passion for the outdoors and love for the ocean led him to yachting. Nick has long-term goals in the industry and aspires to work his way through the ranks, he has recently completed his master of yachts 200 ton and aims to do his Efficient Deckhand course in the near future.
Nicholas Moyes

Erik started cooking in his hometown of Trencin in Slovakia when he was 17. He went on to study at catering college for 4 years and then spent four summer seasons working in Rhodes, Greece in hotel resort restaurants. He then moved to Ireland and worked in one of the best restaurants in Dublin. After this he moved to Spain where he spent two years working in the 1* star restaurant Alkimia and then at El Cellar de Can Roca in Girona which was voted as the best 3* Michelin restaurant in the world. Erik joined Nautilus in 2014 and enjoys sourcing and cooking local ingredients in the various places we visit. When Erik is not in the galley, he will be out on a bike ride, rock climbing, snowboarding, or enjoying a coffee in the sunshine.

South African born and bred, Chris has 12 years of international experience, developing a repertoire full of a variety of different cuisines. Originally, he studied sport science, but later pursued a culinary profession. After qualifying, Chris developed his experience in restaurants on the Stellenbosch winelands in South Africa before moving to London to further his knowledge. He joined the yachting industry as a Chef in 2014 and has not looked back since. Young and enthusiastic, he prides himself as a dedicated, hardworking, free-spirited individual with a passion for people, places, life and most importantly, food!
Chris has a passion for health and fitness and pays close attention to his nutrition. To unwind, you'll find Chris embracing nature, practicing mindfulness and spending time with his dogs.
