NEXT Yacht (formerly Mrs D) is a multi-award-winning luxury motor yacht built by Columbus Yachts in 2015 and refitted in 2022. She comfortably accommodates up to 11 guests in five cabins, served by a professional crew of eight. Hi, my name is Thijn, an enthusiastic Dutchie who left behind the land of tulips and cheese to start my first yachting season and create unforgettable guest experiences on board. Over the past 6 years, I’ve built my career in Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury events as a waiter, event manager, and as personal butler in private households. Whether serving cocktails at sunset, assisting with water activities, or ensuring cabins meet the highest comfort standards, my goal is to make you and your guests feel completely at home while enjoying an unforgettable time on the water with us. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, exploring new cultures, running and making memories with friends. Looking forward to welcoming you on board!

Quentin has a Master 500gt with more than 6 years of experience in the yachting industry on private and charter vessels ranging from 22m to 60m in the Mediterranean Sea.
Quentin passed his first Captain's licence at the age of 24 years old. Having grown up in Cannes, Quentin has a strong affinity with the sea and a passion for water-sports. He was previously employed at a water toys dealer in the south of France which provided him a good knowledge of nautical skills such as diving, wakeboarding, waterskiing, sailing, etc.
Professional dynamic seaman with strong experience in charters, fully dedicated to the vessel, Quentin will always try his best to improve all safety measures on board.

Born in 1997 on the west coast of South Africa, I grew up in and around the ocean. I have been working in yachting for a few years and really enjoy the lifestyle that comes with being in the water as I love the sun, water and adventure.
Outside of work, I’m a fitness oriented person, who loves any form of exercise. From hiking to boxing and everything in between.

He’s an enthuasiastic person with a great passion for the ocean and it’s fauna.
In Aurelien you will find a fulfilling and hard worker Engineer , with now 4 years of experience on board Motor Yachts.
When he’s not working, Aurelien enjoys diving, snorkeling and fishing.

Originally from Cannes, Thomas grew up close to the sea, which has become a passion for him.
At the age of 15 he discovered yachting by doing extra work onboard.
Once he obtained his degree in electrical engineering, he decided to join yachting full time.
With his experience in Charter, his priority is to make you have a good time on board and work
into a safe environment. He is passionate about water sports, nature,
enduro and cycling.

I’m Amber Smith a South African stewardess with over three years of experience on private and charter superyachts across the Mediterranean, working on vessels between 43 and 55 metres.
I’m originally from Cape Town and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Development and the Environment from Stellenbosch University.
Most recently I embarked on an adventure In which I completed a research internship at the Archipelagos Institute of Marine Conservation. Off the boat, I’m passionate about the environment and marine conservation.
Now I am back in the industry and excited to have a lovely summer. I take real pride in delivering warm, attentive service where guests feel genuinely looked after without ever feeling managed.

Following my graduation from a catering school I did few seasons in brasserie restaurants, and quickly after that, in 2006, I have decided to explore the world and to improve my cooking style. Worked in sydney at Aria restaurant owned by Matt Moran
and Astral restaurant (restaurant of the year). Three years later I came back to France and worked for akhara chay in different relais et château hostel. My love for the exploration led me to the yachting industry, to travel around the world (Antarctica, artic, Japon...) on la compagnie du ponant, to end up here for your enjoyment.
