Originally from Florianópolis, Brazil, Wanderson studied Mechanical Engineering before moving into yachting, where he has built hands-on experience across both private and charter yachts. He brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to the Engine Room, along with a well-rounded background that combines yacht engineering, mechanics, shipyard work, and hospitality. His time on board has given him strong practical knowledge of yacht systems and maintenance, while also making him a dependable and adaptable member of the wider crew. What makes Wanderson such a great fit on board is his versatility and positive attitude. He is the kind of person who is happy to step in wherever needed, always with a calm manner and strong team spirit. Having spent many years working in cruise ships and hotels, he brings a natural understanding of guest service and the importance of creating a smooth, enjoyable atmosphere on board. Friendly and easy to get along with, Wanderson enjoys travel, running, volleyball, the gym, and discovering new places along the way.

Hailing from Durban in South Africa, Christine, otherwise known as ‘Bugsy,’ has over thirteen years in the yachting industry. She was attracted to the business because of her love for the ocean and passion for working within the hospitality industry. Bugsy has worked on private and charter yachts, in both the Mediterranean and the Caribbean and has three Atlantic crossings under her belt. She most recently headed up and managed all hospitality on a Private Island, Big Grand Cay in the Bahamas. Bugsy prides herself on her organization and ability to always go the extra mile for the guests on board. She can often be found throwing themed parties or shaking up signature cocktails. In her spare time, she has a passion for tablescaping (she is the author of “The Art of Tablescaping”), photography, filming and editing short films, trail running, water sports and anything adventurous – including two seasons on Bravo TV’s ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’. Bugsy is here to make sure that you feel completely at home

Jay joined yachting in 2013 and has built his career around heavily chartered programmes, world cruising, and demanding yard periods. Over the years, he has developed into a confident and well-rounded senior officer, with a strong understanding of deck operations, safety, bridge work, and the steady day-to-day leadership needed on a busy charter yacht. He brings a natural balance of professionalism and approachability, and is known for his hands-on style, calm manner, and ability to lead by example.
With experience across a range of vessels, from classic yachts, including the iconic S/Y BLACK PEARL, to larger motor yachts, Jay is able to be flexible in his role and has a broad operational perspective. He takes real pride in supporting the Captain and crew, maintaining high standards, and helping create a safe, organised, and enjoyable environment on board. Guests will find him open, welcoming, and easy to be around, while the team values his practical approach and strong sense of responsibility.

Jos, grew up in South Africa's platinum belt, but early on decided that mining was not for him, and he left the country immediately after high school. He discovered the yachting sector while backpacking through Italy for two years, and his love for the ocean and the yachting industry has only grown in the twelve years since! Now that Jos has earned his Master 3000GT certification, he is our fantastic leader at the helm. During his yachting career, Jos spent four years in the South Pacific; exploring Papua New Guinea and Indonesia's many remote islands. Whilst there he searched for WWII wrecks and new reefs, as well as giving help to some of the region's most isolated communities. One of Jos' YouTube videos has over 17 million views, making him one of the most popular drone pilots in the world!

Damian Pretorius is a vibrant and active young man who has recently turned 21. Hailing from the picturesque city of Cape Town, he embodies a healthy lifestyle and a relentless pursuit of excellence. With a passion for competition and a love for challenges, Damian has chosen to embark on a career in yachting, NITA K II being his first yacht, in an industry that perfectly aligns with his enthusiasm for water sports and adventure. He has a clear vision for his future, aspiring to become a captain one day. With his determination and proactive attitude, he aims to be a strong leader and a reliable presence on board. Damian is the type of person who brings energy and positivity to any setting. He is ready for adventure and welcomes the opportunity to meet new people and make lasting connections. In his spare time, Damian loves gym, playing golf, box, watersports, trading and reading. With his helpful attitude and infectious smile, he is sure to be a valuable addition to making your time on board that much more enjoyable.

Meet JP, our passionate yachtsman from Worcester, South Africa, whose love for the ocean came about through growing up by the beach. Now, through his hard work and diligence, he is Master of yachts 200Gt certified and is now working towards his Officer of the Watch qualification, aiming to become a Captain one day. Beyond yachting, JP has a diverse range of interests. He loves golf, hunting,
fishing and loves to spend time in the kitchen preparing a delicious meal. He also enjoys working out, as well as spending time with his family. As a valued crew member, JP brings not just his expertise and enthusiasm, but his commitment to creating a positive and thriving environment on board.

Demi is our enthusiastic junior stewardess who guests will find grounded and
displaying a strong sense of responsibility. Her background before yachting is
varied and practical, including payroll administration, netball coaching, and even managing her own small-scale sustainable chicken breeding farm back in South Africa, as she trained for yachting. Demi is a natural with children and completed a Bachelor of Education at the University of Pretoria, before going on to work as a student teacher and coach. Although she is at the beginning of her yachting career, Demi already has a wealth of training behind her, including her PADI Open Water certification. When not on the water she enjoys baking, photography, golf, running, strength training, tennis, netball, and generally being outdoors.

All the way from a beautiful small town in the Philippines, called Luzon, Angela is our fantastic second stewardess on board. She grew up in the countryside in a lovely neighbourhood where she spent most of her childhood before she moved to Italy with her family when she was 16 years old. She completed her studies in Italy and acquired her degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Angela is very creative and has a flair for beautiful table settings and cocktails. She has completed her silver service course as well as both WSET 1 & 2 which she completed in Italy. Angela loves to travel and meet new people, try delicious food, and get lost in different cultures around the world. When she heard about the possibilities in the yachting industry from her cousin, she immediately signed up for courses and acquired the relevant credentials. The rest is history and Angela considers herself a simple girl with big dreams. She has a love for fashion, is a skilled photographer and loves videography, hiking, baking, reading, fitness, and skiing. Angela will never be found without a smile on her face. Angela’s enthusiastic, professional, and hard-working personality will make your stay on board extremely fun and unforgettable.

Stephanie is a warm, upbeat stewardess with a genuine love for hospitality and looking after guests. Originally from South Africa and now based in West Palm Beach, she entered yachting with a strong service mindset and a real eagerness to learn. Bubbly and energetic by nature, she has built a solid foundation across the interior, with training in areas ranging from mixology to flower arranging. Since joining the industry in early 2026, Stephanie has gained valuable experience supporting a number of busy charter yachts, always showing a positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in wherever needed. This includes time on board NITA K II, where she assisted with a full post-shipyard flip and detailed guest preparation. She is hardworking, professional, and thrives in fast-paced team environments, bringing a lovely balance of enthusiasm and care to her role. In her free time, she enjoys exploring, lazy beach days, early coastal runs, sport, and spending time with family and friends.

Originally from Newcastle in the UK and now based in London, Rory is a personable and talented chef whose style is shaped by both land-based fine dining and a growing career at sea. Before moving into yachting, he worked
in high-end restaurants, private households, and luxury chalet hospitality,
developing a strong culinary foundation with a particular love for modern
European cuisine. His first yacht role came in 2020, and since then he has
built experience across both private and full charter programmes, cooking in
a variety of high-pressure, high-end environments.
Rory is naturally guest-focused and enjoys being part of the overall on board experience, not just the galley. He brings a calm, approachable energy to creating his dishes and is confident across a broad range of cuisines, with a style that feels refined yet relaxed. When not in the galley, Rory loves being active and can often be found kitesurfing and exploring the outdoors. He takes real pride in delivering exceptional dishes that complement each trip perfectly, creating dining experiences that feel thoughtful, memorable, and reflect the guests’ preferences.
