Carla is our bright and energetic Deck/Stew who brings her genuine enthusiasm to life onboard. With experience spanning both deck and interior duties, she is happy to roll up her sleeves wherever needed, whether assisting with deck operations, guest service, housekeeping, laundry, or supporting the team during busy charters. Her adaptable nature and positive attitude help her make a difference wherever she is placed.

Carla Neething

Ryno holds a Diploma in Culinary Arts from The Mills Academy, S.A. and has continued to expand his expertise through professional training in a broad range of international cuisines. His career has included both successful land-based restaurant ventures and sole chef positions aboard private and charter yachts, giving him valuable experience catering to a variety of tastes, dietary requirements and cultural preferences. Kosher trained and comfortable accommodating everything from wellness-focused menus to indulgent fine dining, Ryno combines creativity with a strong technical foundation.
Having cooked everywhere from the wilderness of Alaska to busy Mediterranean charter seasons, Ryno enjoys sourcing fresh local ingredients wherever possible and incorporating them into thoughtfully designed menus. His repertoire spans Mediterranean, Italian, Asian, Middle Eastern and modern European cuisine, while his warm personality and approachable nature make him a favourite with both guests and crew alike.

Ryno De Koker

This is Eva’s second season onboard NOCTURNE, and she brings her infectious enthusiasm and a strong background in hospitality, events and customer service. Having worked as an Events Manager in the UK, she is highly organised, adaptable and thrives in fast-paced environments. Her positive energy and willingness to help make her a valued member of the interior team.
A keen traveller and outdoor enthusiast, Eva enjoys sailing, paddleboarding, hiking and skiing. Her experience coordinating events, combined with her warm and approachable personality, allows her to help create enjoyable and memorable experiences for guests throughout their time onboard.

Lou brings over eight years of experience caring for private families and UHNWI guests across both superyachts and luxury chalets. Originally from Sweden, she has built a reputation for creating warm, well-organised environments where guests feel comfortable from the moment they step on board. Calm, attentive, and naturally hospitable, Lou leads the interior team with a supportive approach while ensuring every detail is taken care of. Whether coordinating guest experiences, managing the interior, or adding thoughtful personal touches, she focuses on making time on board feel effortless and enjoyable

Lou Tamaldan

Alex brings a positive attitude, strong technical aptitude and a genuine enthusiasm for learning. to his role as 2nd Engineer onboard NOCTURNE. Raised in a beautiful beachside town called Plettenberg bay in the Garden Route, South Africa, and originally from Johannesburg, he holds a degree in Civil Engineering. He began his yachting career aboard M/Y CLEOPATRA, where his hard work and approachable nature quickly earned him a permanent position after initially joining as a dayworker.
With a keen interest in engineering, technology and AV/IT systems, Alex enjoys solving problems and continuously developing his skills within the engine room. His background combines engineering knowledge with hands-on yacht experience, while his friendly personality makes him equally comfortable supporting guests and working as part of a close-knit crew. Away from work, Alex enjoys swimming, kayaking, football, padel and spending time outdoors.

Alex Battle
Engineer
Andries brings a wealth of technical knowledge and practical experience to NOCTURNE's engineering department. Originally from South Africa, he combines a background in Information Systems Engineering with more than a decade of experience aboard private and charter yachts. His calm, methodical approach ensures that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their time onboard with complete confidence.
Having worked as both a Sole and Second Engineer on yachts cruising throughout the Caribbean, Bahamas, New England and the Mediterranean. With a background in both engineering and AV/IT systems, Andries plays an important role in ensuring everything from the yacht's technical operations to guest entertainment systems run seamlessly throughout each charter. Known for being approachable and solutions-focused, he is always happy to assist wherever needed.

Andries Leonard
Chief engineer
Born and raised on the south coast of England, Murphy has always felt at home on the water. A keen swimmer and paddleboarder from a young age, he spent four years working as a watersports instructor, as well as two years as a p/t swimming instructor, developing a calm, safety-conscious approach and a natural ability to connect with people. Prior to yachting, he also gained valuable hospitality experience working his way from kitchen porter to waiter at a Michelin-starred winery restaurant.
Holding his Yachtmaster Offshore certificate, and advanced RYA Powerboats, Murphy recently completed his Superyacht Cadetship at UKSA, including skippering passages across the English Channel and spending extended periods living and working at sea in challenging conditions.
Keen to follow in his mum’s footsteps by travelling the world guests will find him friendly, hardworking and dependable.

Bella brings energy, leadership and a genuine love of the ocean to her role as Bosun. Originally from the UK, she studied Geography while competing in collegiate field hockey before pursuing a career in yachting. Since joining the industry, she has gained extensive experience in deck operations, tender driving, watersports and guest activities, progressing steadily through the ranks.
Friendly and approachable, Bella enjoys helping guests make the most of their time on the water, whether that means a scenic tender excursion, fishing trip or day of adventure. A qualified advanced diver and outdoor enthusiast, she is currently working towards her Officer of the Watch qualification while continuing to build her maritime career.

Isabella Molinaro

Raised on the coast in Devon, Jessica developed a love of the sea and hospitality from an early age. Since joining the yachting industry, she has built experience aboard both private and charter yachts, earning a reputation for her positive attitude, professionalism and attention to detail. Whether she's delivering polished service, arranging beautiful table settings or mixing cocktails, Jessica takes pride in creating a seamless guest experience.
Alongside her interior skills, Jessica brings a strong wellness background, having previously worked in the beauty industry and high-end ski chalets. Qualified in Swedish massage and a range of beauty treatments, she enjoys adding those extra touches that help guests relax and feel truly looked after during their time onboard.

Jessica Chidgey

Bradley's route through yachting has been a classic one, starting on deck and steadily working his way through the ranks, to officer positions aboard a variety of yachts. With eight years in the industry, he has developed a reputation for being approachable, dependable and highly capable, whether he's managing deck operations, passage planning or helping guests make the most of their time on the water.
His experience ranges from busy Mediterranean seasons to remote cruising in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest, where guest activities centred around fishing, exploration and adventure. Bradley thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys the challenge that comes with operating in unique destinations. When he's not on watch, you'll often find him diving, surfing, staying active outdoors or capturing destinations through drone photography.
