Bee grew up in a small town just south of Johannesburg, South Africa. As a child, she was shy and not particularly adventurous, but her sense of adventure developed as she grew older.
At 21, she left home to work on cruise ships, where she quickly fell in love with discovering new cultures, places, people, and cuisines. Drawn to both travel and hospitality, she spent eight years at sea before making the natural transition into yachting.
Over the past 13 years, Bee has worked her way up to chief stewardess, building a successful and rewarding career. Outside of yachting, she treasures time at home with family and friends – especially with her dogs.
