Born and raised in the seaside town of Constanta, Romania, Emil has always had a strong connection to the ocean. His love for watersports, nature, and the outdoors naturally led him to a career in yachting, which he began in 2015.
Since then, Emil has worked on a variety of yachts, from private vessels to commercial charters, exploring Europe, the Caribbean, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. With years of experience, he is dedicated to ensuring guests have a seamless and memorable time onboard, tailored to their every need.

Originating from Thailand, Belle brings a wealth of experience to the interior team, having worked as a Housekeeping Stewardess on board a 100m+ private charter yacht, alongside extensive land-based VVIP service experience in Abu Dhabi, Egypt, and Doha. Throughout her career, she has supported Royal and VVIP families in both housekeeping and F&B service roles, where she refined her attention to detail, discretion, teamwork, and exceptional communication skills.
Professional, positive, and adaptable, Belle is passionate about creating outstanding guest experiences and delivering service to the highest standard. Her talents extend to beautiful flower arrangements and massage skills, adding a thoughtful and personal touch to life on board. When she’s not ensuring seamless service, she enjoys working out and exploring her creativity through graphic design.

Mayranee (Belle) Tarase

From Thailand, Nakorn has been excelling as a Chief Engineer on superyachts for over seven years. With more than a decade of experience on commercially operated vessels, his extensive sailing background has taken him across the seas before joining OCTAVE in July 2023.
When he’s not ensuring everything runs smoothly on board, Nakorn enjoys riding motorcycles and venturing into the jungle for camping trips, embracing his love for exploration and the great outdoors.

For Paitoon, cooking isn’t just a skill; it's a passion. As a proud Thai national, he brings a wealth of experience from the hospitality and culinary world. Over the years, he has perfected his craft as a master chef in Singapore, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, and aboard luxury superyachts.
Beyond the kitchen, Paitoon enjoys the intricate art of carving fruits and vegetables, showcasing his creativity and precision. Always eager to learn and experiment, he continuously expands his expertise to deliver unforgettable dining experiences.

“Sashimi with freshly caught fish on the boat.”

Pukkie began her yachting career in 2022, freelancing on various superyachts and building expertise in silver service, table settings, and decorative arrangements. Her attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction quickly set her apart in the industry.
Before stepping into the world of yachting, Pukkie mastered her hospitality skills as a receptionist at a 4-star hotel. When she's not busy ensuring smooth operations on board, she loves swimming and improving her watersports skills.

Ron contributes extensive experience and significant value to the team, with over a decade of expertise on yachts of various sizes. His passion lies in watersports and scuba diving, where he excels. Ron thoroughly enjoys being in the water and ensures guests have an exceptional aquatic experience.

Pop is an experienced navigator who has spent five years sailing as a Second Officer on superyachts across South-East Asia. In July 2023, he brought his expertise to OCTAVE, equipped with a Master 500GT Near Coastal license.
Known for his friendly attitude and team-oriented mindset, Pop is a valued member of the crew, always ready to ensure smooth sailing and a positive atmosphere on board.

Ponlachate (Pop) Kuntharoe

With over 15 years of experience on superyachts in Asia, Bao has been an integral part of OCTAVE since October 2022. Known for his dedication and versatility, he spends time not only in engineering but also on the bridge, recently earning his Captain 500GT license.
When off duty, Bao channels his creativity into restoring and modifying cars, diving, and enjoying watersports, bringing the same enthusiasm to his hobbies as he does to his work on board.
What is your most impressive watersports skill or trick you can do?
“My favourite watersports are jet skating, surfing and scuba diving.”
How did you get into the yachting industry?
“I joined the yachting industry as an engine and electrical mechanic on yachts and worked as a crew member, then as a Captain on small yachts from 50ft to 95ft and then I changed careers to become a mechanic on large yachts.”
