Born in August 1978 in South Africa, Captain Arnold Heins has over 15 years of experience as a captain and engineer in the luxury yachting industry. With a deep passion for maritime operations and an unwavering commitment to safety, he has logged more than 66,500 nautical miles, crossing the Atlantic Ocean three times and exploring destinations such as Alaska, the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and Central America.
Captain Heins holds extensive certifications, including a Marshall Islands 350 GT Captain’s License, MCA Officer of the Watch (3000 Ton), and RYA Yachtmaster Ocean (200 Ton). He is also a certified PADI and NAUI dive instructor with 20 years of experience, adding a unique dimension to his charter offerings.
Throughout his career, Captain Heins has managed various vessels, including sailing catamarans, motor yachts, and explorer-style yachts ranging up to 100 feet. Notable roles include serving as Captain/Engineer on the 96ft Nordhavn M/Y Vivierae II and the 86ft Dreamline M/Y Poderoso (now The Peddler), where he oversaw charters, crew management, and vessel engineering with precision and professionalism.
Known for his meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage complex systems, Captain Heins excels in maintaining and troubleshooting engines, stabilizers, air conditioning systems, and hydraulic equipment. Jonathan Albury serves as Mate aboard the M/Y ONE AND ONLY, bringing a wealth of experience, a hands-on approach, and a deep passion for the sea to his role. A Bahamian native with yachting in his blood—his family has been boating for four generations—Jonathan combines technical expertise with exceptional hospitality to create memorable guest experiences on board.
Jonathan has previously held key positions on yachts such as M/Y Catching Moments (150’ Richmond) and M/Y Cynthia (55M Feadship), excelling in deck operations, tender handling, water sports training, and extensive charter service. During his tenure aboard M/Y ONE AND ONLY, he has successfully completed over 40 charters and boss trips, served as the tender captain for a 37’ Scout, and overseen exterior maintenance and yard periods with precision and dedication.
Certified as a Master of Yacht 200T and with additional qualifications including Powerboat Level II, STCW, and ENG1, Jonathan’s skills encompass navigation watch standing, fiberglass repair, tender towing, and teak and stainless restoration. His focus on safety and attention to detail ensure smooth operations and a safe, enjoyable environment for all on board.
In his downtime, Jonathan enjoys big game fishing, spear fishing, and honing his engineering skills on automobiles and outboard motors. A former competitive swimmer and water polo player who represented his country, Jonathan is a dynamic team player who thrives in high-energy environments and is dedicated to excellence in everything he undertakes.

Hailing from South Africa, Charne-Lee’s journey into the yachting industry was driven by her passion for travel, adventure, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
With a Bachelor’s in Science and a strong background in luxury hospitality, Charne-Lee excels in interior and exterior detailing, laundry and wardrobe management, provisioning, bartending, and assisting with deck operations. Her prior roles on yachts like M/Y Safe Haven and M/Y Malé IV have honed her ability to deliver flawless service and seamless coordination, ensuring every guest enjoys an unforgettable time aboard.
Charne-Lee thrives in ONE AND ONLY’s dynamic environment, where she works alongside her crewmates to provide top-tier service and memorable adventures. Her certifications include STCW 2010, PDSD, Highfield Food Safety Level 2, and SAMSA Medical, along with her B1/B2 Visa, making her well-equipped for international itineraries.
