Lucy grew up in North Queensland Australia. Growing up in the Whitsundays and by the Great Barrier Reef Lucy has always been on and around the water; sailing, boating, fishing, snorkelling. Lucy worked in the healthcare industry in Australia for 3 years before coming over to Europe at the start of 2024 to work on yachts. She is enjoying providing service to people in a new environment and loves to see guests happy and enjoying their time on board. She enjoys running, travelling to new places and going to the beach in her spare time.

Originally from Ireland, Oisín grew up sailing and fishing near Fastnet Rock, developing a deep connection to the sea from an early age.
He brings over eight years of yachting experience, including racing in the Rolex Swan World Cup on ClubSwan 50s and TP52s, and serving as First Mate and Captain aboard the 30m Swan Hoppetosse throughout the Mediterranean.
Before yachting, Oisín competed professionally for five years in the Olympic 49er class, proudly representing Ireland.
With a passion for safety, performance, and creating unforgettable guest experiences, Oisín ensures every journey on ONYX is smooth and memorable.
(And yes — if you’re wondering how to pronounce his name, just call him “Ocean.”)

Emma hails from Falmouth Cornwall in the UK. She studied law at university for 4 years before changing her path to yachting, allowing her to earn an income while exploring the world. She realized her heart is in the galley after working as a stewardess for 8 years aboard charter and private motor and sailing yachts, including 65m MY SHEMARA, 47m SY AQUARIUS, and 34m SY NILYAYA. She decided to make the change to crafting food for guests after working closely with many chefs and cooking for crew during those years. When she's not cooking, menu planning, and provisioning for ONYX, she enjoys hiking and swimming. West Coast Mallorca and Croatia are two of her favourite corners of the world.

At 21 years old, Jack is new to the professional yachting industry, but he's been sailing for years. He started out with dinghy racing and moved on to larger botats doing various trips around Greece and Turkey. His first paid sailing gig was onboard a catamaran, and after that he spent 4 months sailing around the Solent and English Channel, before going further afield up to Iceland. He's enjoying his time on ONYX and likes sharing the big boat sailing experience with guests.

Sailing runs in the blood in Sam’s family. His father was an award-winning skipper in round the world races and the Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. Growing up in England it’s his dad who taught him to sail at a young age and introduced him to the world of yachting. He started out with superyacht racing onboard 60m Perini Navi SEAHAWK, and 44.7m Vitters NINGALOO. From there he stepped into roles on spectacular J Class Yachts 39m Endeavour and 43.4m Lionheart where he worked on cruising programs, refits, deliveries, and racing preparations. Sam took on some freelance positions with smaller carbon yachts and worked as first mate onboard 34m Baltic NILAYA before he took the opportunity to be captain of ONYX.
