Captain Gabriel Aruz brings extensive experience across private, charter and sport fishing yachts, with a strong focus on guest experience, safety and seamless yacht operations. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he has commanded vessels throughout Florida, the Bahamas, Panama, Costa Rica and the Caribbean, developing excellent navigation and boat handling skills.
Most recently, Gabriel served as Captain of the Ferretti 85 M/Y MR. H, overseeing all aspects of yacht management, navigation, maintenance and guest relations. Previous command positions aboard M/Y CAVADA and M/Y SWEET TUNA further strengthened his expertise in yacht operations, itinerary planning and guest-focused cruising.
Passionate about fishing, travel and watersports, he enjoys creating memorable itineraries and helping guests make the most of their time on board M/Y PANGEA.

Solana Alvarez joins M/Y PANGEA as Chef, bringing over ten years of experience across restaurants, private chef assignments and yachting, with a culinary style rooted in Mediterranean and international cuisine.
Italian and Argentinian, born in 1985 and currently based in Paris, she speaks Spanish natively, with fluent Italian and strong English and French. Her professional path began with formal training in Argentina, followed by international experience that led her to settle in Paris.
Solana has held Head Chef positions in several Paris based restaurants, including L’Equerre, Malena and Ferona, where she was responsible for menu creation, provisioning and full kitchen organisation, often leading small teams. In parallel, she has been working as a private chef, delivering tailored dining experiences for international clients, as well as supporting high end hospitality operations on a freelance basis.
Her yachting experience includes roles as Sole Chef on a private yacht in Cannes and Head Chef on a sailing yacht in the Mediterranean, where she managed all aspects of the galley, from provisioning to daily meal preparation for guests and crew, with attention to dietary preferences and seasonal products.
Her cuisine reflects a modern, ingredient driven approach, combining Mediterranean influences with international flavours, and a particular attention to presentation and balance. She is also confident in pastry and baking.
Organised and adaptable, Solana is comfortable managing a galley independently and adjusting to the rhythm of life on board, bringing a calm and reliable presence to the team and a refined yet approachable dining experience for guests on PANGEA.

Jasmine Clark joins M/Y PANGEA as Stewardess, bringing recent experience in interior service and deck/stew roles on motor yachts. New Zealander, she speaks native English, conversational Spanish, and beginner Italian and French.
Her current role on board PANGEA includes guest service, meal and beverage service, laundry, cabin care, interior cleaning, floral decoration and event coordination.
Her previous experience includes a stewardess/deckhand role aboard M/Y BLUE MOON, a 21m motor yacht based in Port Rotondo, where she assisted with interior duties, meal preparation, mooring and anchoring, night watches, exterior cleaning and general maintenance. She has also worked on charter party boats in Ibiza as Stewardess/Bartender/Deckhand.
Jasmine holds a Certificate in Maritime Superyacht Crewing from the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology, as well as STCW, a Certificate of Medical Fitness, RYA Competent Crew, RYA Powerboat Level 2, Food Safety and Handling Level 2, Radio Operator certification, Seafarer Security Awareness and Outboard Engine Maintenance certification.
Practical, energetic and guest focused, Jasmine brings to PANGEA a versatile approach and a welcoming presence on board.

Dexsi E. Batista joins M/Y PANGEA as Deckhand/Engineer, bringing over 25 years of maritime experience across government vessels, private yachts and charter yachts. Panamanian, he speaks native Spanish and English at working level.
His background includes both engineering and command roles, with recent experience as Captain of M/Y DEVIL’S ADVOCATE, a 50 ft private/charter vessel, where he was responsible for navigation, docking, anchoring, guest service, vessel management and maintenance supervision.
Dexsi has also served as Chief Engineer on larger private and charter yachts, including M/Y DISCOVERY and M/Y PACIFIC QUEEN, managing engine room operations, maintenance programmes, technical troubleshooting, generators, systems operation, spare parts inventories and reporting.
He holds a Captain licence up to 200 GT, Motorman III/4, STCW Basic Safety Training, Security Awareness Training, ENG1 medical certificate and a Panamanian seaman’s book. His technical experience includes MAN, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta, Detroit Diesel, MTU, John Deere, Isuzu, Suzuki and General Motors marine engines.
On board, Dexsi is appreciated for his efficiency, discretion and consistently attentive approach. He works quietly and respectfully in the background, maintaining high standards of presentation and readiness while remaining available whenever assistance is required.
