Juriaan was born and raised in Stellenbosch, a region renowned for its exquisite wines and breathtaking landscapes. With the ocean at his doorstep, it was only natural for Juri to develop a deep connection to the sea. He became a certified dive instructor and spent every spare moment underwater after school. Upon graduating, he moved to Thailand to further hone his diving skills. It wasn’t long before he joined his first yacht as a liveaboard dive instructor.
Juri’s drive and dedication quickly propelled him forward. By the age of 26, he had worked as a dive instructor for VVIP guests and was serving as Chief Officer aboard a 60-meter motor yacht. Since then, he has navigated the coasts of North and South America, crossed the Equator and the Pacific Ocean, and ventured through the Polynesian Islands, Asia, the Seychelles, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean.
His videography and drone skills have become a guest favourite, capturing unforgettable memories to relive and share. Now a father of two, with one more on the way, Juri seamlessly blends safety and entertainment into daily life at sea. His mission is simple: to ensure you have the time of your life on board.
