Sebastien boasts an extensive yachting career, commencing in 2005 as a deckhand. In 2007, he ascended to the position of captain on a sailing yacht, where he served the same owner for an impressive three-year tenure. Subsequently, Sebastien spent over a decade captaining various sailing yachts, navigating diverse destinations such as Greece, the Balearic Islands, Sicily, Malta, and even undertaking Transatlantic cruises. His profound familiarity extends to the South of France, Corsica, Sardinia, and the Liguria regions. In 2017, Sebastien transitioned to captaining charter motor yachts, including renowned vessels like the Riva 68 and Arcadia. He excelled during bustling charter seasons, accumulating a wealth of invaluable experience. Notably, Sebastien possesses a strong technical background, adding to his capabilities. Renowned for his tireless work ethic, he consistently demonstrates a high level of dedication. Spring 2022 marked Sebastien's first season with Piola, during which he seamlessly integrated into the team. He successfully navigated an intensive charter season, accommodating international guests and fulfilling the demands of discerning owners. With unwavering readiness and motivation, Sebastien is determined to surpass expectations and ensure the utmost satisfaction for every guest on board.

Alexis is a young and motivated steward currently serving onboard the Piola for his second season. He is known for his friendly and professional demeanor, coupled with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and crafting memorable experiences for guests. Alexis is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of hospitality while fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere onboard. His proven organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, combined with his adept multitasking abilities, make him an invaluable asset to the team. Additionally, Alexis possesses a discreet and quiet character, always maintaining a positive attitude. Outside of his duties, Alexis is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys dedicating his free time to training professionally. He can even offers sportive coaching to guests upon request.
Julie embarked on her journey in the yachting industry in 2019, starting with day charters on small 15-20 m yachts and then passing intensive seasons onboard Mangusta 92 (2022) and Leopard 34m (2023). Prior to her yachting career, Julie honed her hospitality skills in diverse settings, including Club Med resort and various bars and restaurants. Her experience in these dynamic environments equipped her with a keen understanding of guest service and a knack for creating memorable experiences.
Julie's passion for the sea extends beyond her professional duties, as she finds joy in sailing and snorkeling during her leisure time. This hobby not only enriches her personal life but also enhances her proficiency as a deckhand, allowing her to navigate the waters with confidence and share her enthusiasm with guests. With a commitment to excellence and a natural affinity for hospitality, Julie brings a unique blend of skills and enthusiasm to her role as a deckhand.
Xavier has accumulated an impressive repertoire of culinary expertise throughout his longlasting career. His journey as a chef began in 1986, and since then, he has continuously honed his skills by working in various types of restaurants and as a private chef. Xavier's culinary adventures have taken him across the globe, with stints in Luxembourg, La Reunion, and Australia. For a decade, Xavier served as a chef in a mountain hotel, allowing him to master the art of preparing lake and river fish, as well as seasonal cuisine. He thrived in this environment, refining his culinary techniques and embracing the diversity of flavors. Additionally, Xavier has garnered valuable experience working as a chef in both winter and summer seasons at ski and mountain resorts.
Motivated by a desire to blend his love for cooking with his passion for the sea, Xavier embarked on his yachting journey. He joined Piola for his inaugural yachting season in 2023, eager to bring his culinary skills to the dynamic and ever-changing environment of yachting, and the captain and owner are happy to have him for the second season! With his wealth of experience and culinary creativity, Xavier is poised to offer a delightful gastronomic experience on board.
