Luca was born in France but moved to Cape Town, South Africa as a child with his parents and younger sister. He grew up by the ocean which is where he found a love for surfing, spearfishing and water sports.
In 2011 Luca completed a degree in Business Psychology and then joined yachting in 2012. He loves to keep an active lifestyle which is why this industry is perfect for him. Luca particularly loves chartering because of the ever changing environment and excitement.

Leomar was born and raised in Iloilo, Philippines. He grew up in a big family and adores spending time with his loving wife and two children. Leomar enjoys keeping active through going to the gym and playing basketball when he can.
He joined the yachting industry in 2022, working on two yachts before Project X. He can’t wait to see what unique experiences are made throughout the season.

Max grew up in Kent, UK with his three siblings and parents by the seaside. He found his love for cooking from a young age, starting off in a pizza kitchen and working his way to London to gain experience in a busy restaurant. Max has a passion for the ocean, combining this with his love for cooking, yachting is the perfect match.
He joined the industry in 2023 and is excited to see his career grow by creating memorable experiences for guests and fellow crew. Outside of yachting, Max enjoys water sports and travelling.

Having grown up in a big family in the English countryside, Lydia left for London to study fashion design but swiftly realised it wasn’t the life she wanted to pursue. She then left to travel the world and having completed two ski seasons in the Alps, a chalet guest convinced her to work on their yacht in Italy. That was in 2010 and she has never looked back! Lydia has worked on all sizes and types of yachts, from 25m up to 135m, charter yachts, expedition yachts and has worked in the largest private fleet operation in the world..
Lydia loves to ski as soon as she gets a chance and is currently learning to kite-surf. She really enjoys being outdoors and social, is creative and loves to cook for friends and family. Having built many friendships across the world she spends a lot of her spare time travelling and saying yes to new opportunities and experiences.

Courtney was raised in a coastal town called Vilanculos in Mozambique. She grew up doing waters ports and riding horses on the beach with her younger sister.
Courtney joined the yachting industry in 2017 after she decided to travel Europe. After her first season, she was hooked! She cannot wait to see what adventures and fun she can bring to our guests.

Sonny was born and raised in a small town called Hobro in Denmark. He enjoyed an active childhood, partaking in lots of sports, with cycling being his favourite. His passion for engineering was passed down by his father who is also a very skilled engineer. Sonny was educated as a Naval officer in the royal Danish navy with a bachelor in Naval Engineering, graduating in 2007. Prior to yachting, Sonny was an electric engineering officer serving around the world including several UN missions around Africa between 2007 and 2009, a Chief Engineer oil pollution fighter and a Chief Engineer for an oil supply vessel.
Sonny joined yachting in 2012 and has since worked on multiple yachts as an engineer. He is a friendly, fun and professional crew member of Project X.

Sonny (Sonny Junior) was born and raised in Kolding, Denmark in a little village in the countryside of Egtved. He has a long held passion for mechanics and electronics, taking his toys apart as a young boy and re-assembling them. Sonny completed a degree in auto mechanics in 2016 and later earned a bachelors in Maritime Engineering in 2020. Throughout his career so far, Sonny has worked as a marine engineer on a commercial dredger, a car mechanic, a certified apple technician, as well as a waiter and children’s entertainer.
In his spare time he enjoys fitness, robotics and extreme sports including skydiving, climbing and snowboarding. He is energetic, smiley and brings a positive working attitude to the boat.

After completing an initial ocean crossing, Paul chose to join the Yachting industry full time. Having previously worked with Captain David for over 6 years on different vessels and being involved in Project X during her build stage he has recently rejoined within the engineering Department.
In his personal life, he is an outdoor enthusiasts who loves being in nature. Most of his time is spent hiking, rock climbing and exploring his home country of South Africa on his much loved motorcycle. Paul has spent most of his adult life traveling around the world chasing the horizon, scenery and practicing his hobby successfully in photography with every step he takes.
When at home or with friends he loves hosting, so being on board Project X suits his love of adventure and entertaining which lends itself to providing unparalleled experiences to our guests.

Marc has 4 years’ experience on deck, a Yachtmaster Offshore qualification, his OOW courses complete and a background as a sail/powerboat instructor. He possesses extensive maintenance knowledge and he's confident in leading others, setting an example through his strong work ethic.
Marc has always proven to be a reliable, honest and organized person, who enjoys working to the highest standards. As bosun he can showcase his skills and share his knowledge with the deck team.

Born and raised in Durban, South Africa, Hayden has always had a passion and love for the outdoors and adventures. Growing up along the coast and only a short drive from the mountains, Hayden enjoys fishing, diving, cycling, hiking and camping.
Before joining the yachting industry in 2022, Hayden completed a degree in strategic management which led him to working as a junior foreman in construction. After learning about the yachting industry, Hayden realised he could combine his skills on the tools and passion for the outdoors and decided to trade in the muddy boots for driving boats. Hayden’s passion for the industry is what motivates him to continuously further himself by completing his modules towards his OOW.
