Originally from Croydon, London, Louis also spent part of his youth on the islands of Corfu, Greece. Coming from a maritime family, his love for the sea developed early. After completing his education in the UK and Greece, Louis spent his summers teaching sailing, windsurfing, and water-skiing.
Louis’ career has taken him around the globe. From remote anchorages to world-famous yachting destinations, working on both high-performance sailing yachts and prestigious motor yachts. As Captain of Quantum of Solace, he leads with experience, passion, and an eye for unforgettable guest experiences.

Louis Chadwick
Captain
Rupert originates from West Sussex in the South of England. Having a keen interest in the natural world Rupert studied environmental conservation at university whilst also working in landscaping. Two years after graduating the temptation to start a new path in the Yachting industry became too much and he moved out to Mallorca in 2016. Rupert loves everything to do with the outdoors and as a result has an interest in trail running and hiking, and since yachting he has developed a love for water sports! He is also a keen photographer focusing mainly on landscapes and wildlife.

Rupert Beros

Minke grew up in a small town called Krugersdorp, South Africa, little knowing that she would one day discover the world of yachting. Her early role as a Personal Assistant by day and waitress by night, laid the foundation for this exciting career. In 2019, she joined the yachting industry, where she quickly discovered her true passion for hospitality and guest service. Outside of work, Minke has a deep love for nature and the outdoors, enjoying hiking, camping, diving, and skiing whenever possible. She has also developed a strong passion for wine and fine dining, often seeking out exceptional culinary experiences. Naturally bubbly and approachable, Minke takes great pride in ensuring guests feel truly looked after, always striving to make each trip as enjoyable and memorable as possible.

Minke Durand

Louise Baby grew up in Denmark, sailing from a young age developed her natural connection to the sea. At 19, she became the youngest competitor in her country to take place in a national mixology competition and later competed in Miss Universe Denmark. She went on to manage & build strong teams in the gym industry and helped develop cocktail bars from concept to completion. During this time, she lived in Ecuador and Saudi Arabia, learning languages along the way. Louise speaks five fluently and is currently learning her sixth. For the past 2.5 years, Louise has worked onboard mega yachts, where she is often described as a positive individual with strong attention to detail, creating the most memorable guest experiences.

Louise Baby Voss

Originally from Scarborough, North Yorkshire, Layla brings over eight years of hospitality experience and has worked on yachts up to 92m, rotating through service, housekeeping, and laundry. Bubbly, sociable, and detail-oriented, she thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences. A keen traveller, she spent time backpacking through Indonesia and has taken cooking classes around the world. Layla enjoys hosting dinner parties, experimenting with new recipes, and is developing a growing interest in mixology.

Lé-Ay grew up in the small farm town of Klerksdorp, South Africa, where her love for travel began at an early age. After finishing high school, she joined the yachting industry, inspired by family members already working at sea and eager to begin her own adventure. Life on the water quickly became a true passion, and she now loves waking up to the ever-changing views of international destinations. With a longstanding interest in beauty therapy and understanding the human body, Lé-Ay became a qualified massage therapist and previously ran her own practice in South Africa, working with clients from all walks of life. This experience strengthened her dedication to wellness and set her on the path toward becoming a highly qualified spa therapist.

Grace grew up in Surrey, UK, and following the COVID period found herself immersed in a variety of hospitality-focused roles, including working in an Italian café, bars, restaurants, and hostessing at the Jockey Club. It was here that she met a friend who introduced her to the world of yachting, sparking a new and exciting career path. Motivated and eager to learn, Grace quickly completed her required courses and embraced the challenge of life at sea. Outside of work, she has a strong passion for horses and horse riding, spending her time painting and staying active at the gym.

Born in Johannesburg South Africa, Wade always felt a desire to leave the city and pursue an ocean base lifestyle. Starting his maritime career as a commercial diver and underwater welder for a few years, Wade then transitioned over to the Yachting industry. With a passion for leadership, boating and problem-solving Wade has found his footing well in the industry and is grateful to be a part of an evolving industry. Wade enjoys shore-based interests such as building, property development, and carpentry with a love for figuring out how things work, how systems operate and always strives to perfect the tasks and operations he encounters. For Wade life is a celebration and curiosity remains at the forefront
of his endeavors.

With several years of experience as Bosun on busy charter yachts, he brings a hands-on approach, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of deck operations, tender driving, and bridge watches. Known for his energy and easy-going nature, Callum thrives in dynamic environments and is always ready to take on a challenge. Off the water, you’ll find him hiking, skateboarding, or chasing new adventures in the great outdoors.

Originally from Edenvale, Johannesburg, Dale is a highly motivated and hands-on crew member with a strong foundation in marine engineering and deck operations. With experience across tender driving, water sports, line work, and mechanical maintenance, he brings both energy and precision to the deck team. Adaptable, reliable, and team-oriented, Dale thrives in active environments where physical endurance and problem-solving are key. Outside of work, he enjoys deep-sea fishing, staying active, and keeping the vessel in top condition, above and below deck.
