Captain Mauro Ventura is a highly skilled yachting professional, with a strong focus on hospitality and impeccable management, he is an essential asset for any high-end charter operation, available starting in October. He speaks Italian ,English.
His extensive experience as a Captain on private yachts (40M and 45M) has instilled in him a mindset geared toward professional and discreet service, which is vital in the charter market..
Mauro has successfully coordinated crews , fostering a professional and proactive team environment—a key factor in delivering exceptional onboard service.Safety and Entertainment: He not only guarantees maximum safety and navigation standards (as demonstrated in his Captain roles) but is also a go-to for waterside entertainment. He is skilled in Tender/Jet Ski Driving, organizing Water Sports, and coordinating Fishing activities for guests.His experience as a Build Captain (M/Y Kahala, 40M) and involvement in the new construction of a 67M (M/Y KASPER 7) demonstrate a deep understanding of vessel maintenance and efficiency. Mauro holds a Chief Mate Unlimited license, in addition to command qualifications (evidenced by his Captain experience on yachts up to 45M).Mauro Ventura offers the rare combination of impeccable technical leadership and a strong focus on the guest experience, making him an outstanding asset for any yacht operating in the luxury charter sector.
Angelo was born in Vico equense, on the Sorrento peninsula.
He grew up near the sea and began from a young age to explore his passion for fishing and boats, which led him into the recreational boating sector.
An excellent tender driver, Angelo also boasts great experience in boat maintenance
He also enjoys traveling and a variety of musical genres. Italian is his native language and he also speaks English.
His goal is certainly to continue his career in
maritime and pleasure boating sector which still fascinates him after all these years.

Dedicated and highly professional Stewardess with 15+ years in 4- & 5-star hospitality and recent superyacht experience. I recently served as Sole Stewardess on a 24m charter yacht M/Y Paladio in the Canary Islands, running the entire interior single-handedly on daily and weekly charters.

Educated, elegant and discreet, Joanna Gaudio is a Chief Stewardess with several years’ experience in the yachting industry, having grown from Stewardess up to Chief Stewardess aboard Princess vessels. She is known for her polished, clean and silent presence onboard, always anticipating guest needs with a warm smile and attentive, guest-focused service. Professional, proactive and highly organized, she leads the interior team with calm efficiency while ensuring 5-star standards are maintained from arrival to departure.

Chef Simone Narducci 47 years old (Rome) will be joining R23 for the 2026 season.
Originally from Italy, Simone’s passion for cuisine began at a very young age in his family home. He furthered his culinary education through extensive experience abroad. Notably, during the winter months, he serves as the chef for champion skiers, which has led him to specialize in high-protein and energy-focused nutrition.
Chef Narducci is dedicated to using fresh ingredients and is particularly inspired by the aromas of basil, oregano, and saffron. His dishes are known for being vibrant, colorful, and beautifully presented. Additionally, he brings exceptional skill in creating authentic, homemade pizza.

Simone Narducci

Gabriele has been passionate about the sea since a young age.
Born in Termoli, Italy , he attended a nautical high school with the goal of building a career in the maritime industry.
At 19, he began working as a dinghy rental operator in the Tremiti islands. He later joined crew of traditional gullet, an experience that confirmed his desire to live and work at sea.
After further experience on yachts, he became part of the crew on the R23.
Beyond his passions for boating, Gabriele is a friendly, positive, and well-mannered person, thanks in part to the strong support of his family.
He’s also dedicated athlete: he played basketball for nine years and now practices martial arts.

Gabriele Genovese
Deckhand
Enthusiastic and hard-working deckhand with a Swiss background and a global outlook, he holds an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore with commercial endorsement obtained at 19 and has logged approximately 14,000 nautical miles including two Atlantic crossings, all on sailing yachts. He has experience on both sailing and motor yachts, having completed deliveries from Curaçao to the Azores via Bermuda, supported docking and deck operations on catamaran day charters including guest-facing bartending and service, and is currently maintaining exterior standards on a 47m M/Y with washdowns, stainless and teak care. He is a strong team player who thrives on challenge, stays calm under pressure, and brings a proactive, can-do attitude to watchkeeping, navigation support, maintenance, cleaning and guest experience.

Maxime Boudry

Passionate and dedicated to yachting from a young age, he trained at the Artiglio Technical Institute in Viareggio and has been building sea time as a Deckhand since 2018. He has worked across multiple vessels, from 21m sailing yachts to 40m motor yachts including M/Y Sima, M/Y Not Only Jo.b and S/Y Myosotis, gaining solid experience in deck operations, maintenance and exterior presentation. Motivated, hard-working and eager to learn, he takes pride in every aspect of his role and is focused on developing his skills and personal experience to progress toward a Pleasure Boat Officer qualification in the future.
