Following their footsteps, James embarked on a maritime journey that saw him swiftly rise through the ranks. By the tender age of 10, he had already clinched a coveted spot in the British National Zone Squad for Dinghy sailing, a testament to his early talent and dedication.
Determined to explore new horizons, James soon outgrew dinghy racing, setting his sights on larger vessels. Competing alongside seasoned crews on yachts spanning up to 50 feet, he honed his skills in both national and international arenas. It was during this period of growth that a fellow crewmate planted the seed of opportunity in the superyacht industry, opening doors to a world of boundless adventure.
