Hans was born in Belfast and brought up in county Antrim Northern Ireland. He studied and completed his apprenticeship in carpentry and became a qualified Carpenter. Hans has always been involved in yachts for an early age with his family having a small sailing yacht in Bangor marina. He started the yachting industry in 2010 and has worked in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, America, and Australia. Hans his very passionate and takes great pride in his work. In his spare time, he likes to keep active playing golf, hiking, tennis, and snooker.

Originally from the outskirts of Glasgow, Mark developed a passion for the water from a young age, spending his childhood boating on Loch Lomond and along the Scottish coastline. Mark worked as a chef on a luxury hotel barge, combining his love for hospitality with a lifelong appreciation for fine dining. He later completed his Yachtmaster qualification and has since built an extensive career at sea.With over 900 days of charter experience, six Atlantic crossings, and cruising throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas, and Norway, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge in navigation, charter planning, and guest experience. He is known for going above and beyond to create seamless, memorable journeys for owners and guests alike.
A natural host with a passion for food, Mark is also a talented chef, affectionately nicknamed “Captain Sea Bass” by past guests. Professional, experienced, and personable, he combines strong leadership with a warm, hands-on approach onboard.

With nearly a decade of yachting experience, Jasmine brings a natural flair for hospitality and a deep love of the sea to her role as Chief Stewardess aboard Reliance. Raised on the Cornwall coast, she began her career in luxury hospitality and event management, where her attention to detail and passion for exceptional guest service quickly stood out. Jasmine holds a WSET Level 3 certification in Wines and Spirits, enabling her to curate memorable onboard dining and beverage experiences. Her love of travel and adventure made yachting a perfect fit.
Over the past nine years, she has worked on high-end private and charter yachts across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and USA. Warm, professional, and attentive, Jasmine is dedicated to five-star service and ensuring every guest feels relaxed, pampered, and at home.

Originally from the stunning landscapes of New Zealand, Ellie brings a strong sense of adventure, energy, and warmth to everything she does. Passionate about the outdoors, she’s always been drawn to snowboarding and water sports. Her love for the mountains took her to Canada for a ski season, where she immersed herself in alpine life before returning home to begin her yachting career in 2021.
Easy going, curious, and adaptable, Ellie thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life. Whether she’s out on the water, exploring a new destination, or chasing the seasons, she’s most at home when she’s active, engaged, and exploring the world around her.She is very much looking forward to welcoming you on board Reliance!

Rumen was born on the spectacular coast of the Black Sea in Varna, Bulgaria. He has always had a passion for open seas and new horizons, which naturally led him to a career on the ocean. Upon completion of his bachelor’s degree in marine engineering at the Bulgarian Naval Academy, he then began his first engineering role in commercial shipping. After this he moved on to cruise ships for several years to gain a wider range of experience earning the rank of First Engineer.
In 2018 he then joined the yachting industry, spending five years working on 70m+ yachts as a Second Engineer. When he’s not at sea, Rumen loves spending time outdoors with his wife and young children.

Originally from a seaside town in West Cork, Ireland, Tom developed a strong connection to the sea from an early age, spending time sailing and driving small tenders. At 11, he moved to the Costa Blanca in Spain, where he became fluent in Spanish and built his early career in both football and watersports.He has worked as a football coach and scout, as well as a kayak guide leading large groups along the coastline, developing strong people skills and confidence in active, outdoor environments. Tom later transitioned into yachting, gaining experience on vessels from 30m to 44m, focusing on deck operations, maintenance, watersports, and guest service.
A highlight of his career includes working during the Monaco Grand Prix, where he supported operations for over 200 guests and further developed his tender driving skills in a fast-paced environment.Adventurous, inquisitive, and active, Tom brings energy, reliability, and a positive attitude onboard, with a genuine passion for life at sea.

Raised on the shores of the Black Sea, Chef Dimitar is a culinary-trained professional with over 15 years of experience across luxury yachts and private villas, delivering exceptional dining for both owners and charter guests. He began his career at sea as a sommelier on cruise ships, building a strong foundation in fine dining and guest service. He later refined his hospitality and leadership skills in Cannes and Courchevel before returning to yachting, where he has spent over a decade working throughout the Mediterranean. Chef Dimitar is passionate about creating memorable culinary experiences, focusing on fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients. His cuisine emphasizes balance and flavour, with expertise in Mediterranean, Japanese, French, Italian, and fusion styles. Approachable and guest-focused, he enjoys interacting with guests and tailoring menus to their preferences, ensuring a refined, personalised, and memorable onboard dining experience.

Originally from Gdansk, Poland, close to the Baltic coast, Marcin is now based in Antibes and has spent much of his life close to the sea, where his passion for yachting naturally evolved into a professional career. After studying marine engineering and with over 20 years of experience on both sailing and motor yachts, he is deeply committed to maintaining comfort, safety, and reliability on board. Guests rarely see his work firsthand, but they benefit from it every day—through quiet systems, seamless operations, and a yacht that performs effortlessly whether cruising or at anchor. Known for his steady demeanor and practical mindset, Marcin works closely with the engineering team to anticipate needs and resolve any issues before they impact the guest experience. His hands‑on approach, combined with strong teamwork and attention to detail, helps create the relaxed, worry‑free atmosphere that defines a successful charter. Marcin describes himself as reliable, practical, and hands‑on—qualities that make him an essential part of the crew and a reassuring presence behind the scenes on board Reliance.

Rhys brings a positive, energetic presence to the deck team on board Reliance. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, he grew up surrounded by the ocean, where his grandfather taught him how to fish—sparking a natural love for life on the water from an early age. Before entering yachting, Rhys spent several years pursuing competitive sport in tennis, representing South Africa at the age of 16 before later becoming a tennis coach. His talent and dedication earned him a scholarship in the United States, where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. These experiences shaped his strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and focus on guest enjoyment. Rhys brings these qualities seamlessly into his role on board, supporting daily operations with enthusiasm, care, and attention to detail. With over three years of experience on a range of motor yachts, he enjoys being part of a close‑knit, motivated crew and takes pride in helping guests feel comfortable, safe, and well looked after—whether assisting with water activities, deck operations, or simply lending a helping hand when needed. Rhys describes himself as fun, sporty, and present, qualities that make him a natural fit for charter life and an engaging, approachable member of the crew.
