About RENAISSANCE
Built at Freire in Spain to Passenger Yacht Code, Ice Class 1D, and with the ability to host up to 36 passengers in 19 luxurious cabins, RENAISSANCE represents a new era in superyacht charter – one that blurs the lines between larger vessels yet masterfully delivers on the first-class service expected of a bespoke yacht charter.
Designed, inside and out, by the award-winning British studio Bannenberg & Rowell, the yacht's interior is a sophisticated collage of neutral colours, tactile furnishings and highly usable spaces ideal for a multi-generational charter. With six decks for guests to enjoy, accommodation is spread over three of them and incudes a dedicated owners’ deck complete with private fore and aft decks.
Amenities are a plenty on RENAISSANCE, highlights include the expansive beach club showcasing the latest watertoys to keep guests entertained plus a bar and waterside dining area, a stunning swimming pool on the main deck aft and a fabulous spa deck. The spa deck is a revelation, and includes the fitness centre with extensive equipment list, hot and cold plunge pools, steam room and sauna. Treatment rooms plus a hair and beauty salon complete the spa deck setup. A commercially certified helipad facilitates additional options for guests’ arrivals and departures to the yacht.

Peter completed his formative studies at Glasgow College of Nautical Studies in the early 2000s and built up his mileage working on gas carriers, super tankers, ice breakers and fishery protection vessels. With his tickets in hand, he joined his first superyacht in 2000 and quickly made his way onto larger vessels, his second one being 113m in length! Aside of climbing the ranks on board, Peter also spent a few years working at Stornoway Port Authority, serving as chief pilot for all visiting vessels. Peter has a string of impressive yachts to his name making him the ideal candidate to take the helm on board RENAISSANCE. It will come as no surprise that Peter is a keen sailor and owns a Sweden Yacht 370 in the Outer Hebrides.

Eddie has immersed himself into projects beyond his captain role, extending to various facets of yacht operations. In 2013, Eddie developed a comprehensive damage response procedure for commercial vessels which was endorsed by the IMO.

In 2016, Vittorio sidestepped into the glamorous world of superyachts and has since worked on four yachts as chief officer taking responsibility for the deck and maintenance operations. Vittorio’s extensive experience makes him a valuable member of RENAISSANCE’s bridge team in ensuring the yacht is managed to the highest standards in terms of safety and efficiency for guests and crew alike.
