Meet Eden, arguably our most adventurous crew member, whose love for watersports blossomed during a childhood spent on Herald Island. Eden brings a competitive spirit to the team with her background in hockey, and is considered as being the best water-skier onboard REVELRY!
Having recently sailed the South Pacific on a catamaran, Eden's yachting career aligns seamlessly with a passion for the sea. An avid nature lover and thrill-seeker, Eden is eager to explore the Caribbean's beaches and hikes this winter season.
Eden also has a passion for fishing, catching an extremely large snapper in the three kings! However, her love for animals means that she is a vegetarian and prefers to set the fish free again to live a long happy life in the ocean. And, if you ever want to win Eden's heart, just serve up a bowl of delicious pumpkin soup! Eden cherishes moments with family and friends, as well as her pets Misha and Ali, and she can’t wait to make your memories onboard REVELRY memorable and fun.

Katie was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. Growing up her uncle and aunt who worked on crewed yachts for many years filled her head with stories of sailing the beautiful Caribbean and Mediterranean, she was enticed.
In 2018, a few months after completing a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Screen Production she was on a one-way flight to the British Virgin Islands to start her yachting career. Katie loves being on the water and in it.
Her favourite place she has visited by sea is Svalbard and the Arctic Ocean, it's not every day you get to witness a polar bear swim past the crew mess porthole!
In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, hiking, and visiting art galleries.

Whether he's crafting elegant menus for guests or preparing comforting meals for crew, Matthew is dedicated to excellence in every bite and has a love for fresh, quality ingredients. Beyond the kitchen, Matthew is a certified dive master and ocean enthusiast passion for travel, he immerses himself in different cultures and culinary traditions.

Evert is from the small town of Paarl in South Africa. His passions include the ocean, fishing and being outdoors; making yachting a dream career for him found with a fishing rod in his hand any chance he gets.
Evert enjoys the outdoors taking on a new challenge whether it be a water sport or practicing his golf swing. Evert started his yachting career in 2019 after he realised that his office job was not for him. He knew that he would love to spend his days working outside on the water and in the sun so he chased that.
He is an amazing family man and friend, which transpires through his enthusiasm and presence on the boat.

Connor is a Cape Town native with a deep love for the ocean, creativity, and conscious living. Having spent the past few years working on yachts and traveling extensively, he’s developed a grounded and adaptable approach to life, shaped by both structure and freedom.
Outside of yachting, Connor is a builder of ideas and brands. He’s currently developing ventures that fuse design, wellness, and sustainability — all driven by a desire to create things that feel purposeful and human. Fitness is a core part of his lifestyle, for balance and growth. Connor is all about living intentionally and building a life that reflects what matters most.

Douglas, often called Douggie, hails from the UK, though he has spent much of his time abroad. With three years of experience in superyachting, he joined REVELRY as a 2nd Engineer working alongside his rotational opposite number, Joe. Douggie’s career has been dedicated to engineering, starting with college and motor vehicle workshops, followed by 12 years in the Army as a Vehicle Mechanic before transitioning into the yachting industry.
Douggie strives to bring positivity to those around him, brightening their days with his cheerful demeanor. Outside of yachting, he has a passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as hiking in the mountains, diving, and climbing. Exploring new places, experiencing fresh adventures, and continually challenging himself are what keep him excited about life.

Joshua grew up in a small coastal community on the east coast of South Africa where he cultivated a lifelong passion for the sea. Having come from an extensive sailing and marine background, he is an experienced blue-water sailor. He has completed four ocean passages and has sailed on catamarans to commercial research ships.
Now in his sixth season on yachts, he has recently qualified for his Chief Mates license and now aims to further his career at sea and qualify as Master in the next five years.
In his free time Joshua is an avid surfer, free diver and swimmer and enjoys being in or on the water in any capacity.

Whilst Ryan harbours extensive cruising knowledge and 19+ years’ worth of experience at sea, he has recently found himself in the exciting unchartered waters of fatherhood! When onboard, Ryan pairs his professional expertise with a humorous charm to lead the motor yacht REVELRY crew to new heights. He feels most himself at sea, chasing sunsets and riding the tides, and with Ryan at the helm, safety first is the name of the game as he works to provide guests with unforgettable experiences.
Ryan’s success story can be rooted back to a pinnacle experience after school, when four eager friends set sail on a 31-day voyage from Cape Town, South Africa to Tortola in the Caribbean Sea. Their 47ft catamaran made the journey safely unchanged however Ryan’s path was forever altered. Since then Ryan has gone on to captain private and charter yachts over the course of his career. Worldly-seasoned through the Mediterranean, Baltic, The Bahamas, Caribbean, Central America and Alaska to name but a few!
Ryan can be found immersed in nature much of his leisure time off the boat. He’s partial to quiet, serene fishing spots along river streams where he brings his ever-evolving, fly fishing finesse to play. He’s also been known to run an ultra-marathon or two, and scenic hikes appeal to his sense of adventure. He’s renowned too for conquering the skies, flying drones far and wide to capture unreal imagery from some of the world’s untouched and iconic destinations.
A South African born in the southern hemisphere, Ryan has come to find a sense of home on the beautiful Isle of Wight, in the UK on the other side of the world. It’s during this time when Ryan’s family is at the fore, and he revels in designing their future family home that’s currently in process.

Adam’s energy onboard REVELRY can best be described by the maritime saying “Steady as she goes”. His calming presence keeps everyone on their course. He handles any “swells” that come along with a grounding steadfast energy that filters through the whole crew. Professional yet witty, Adam has mastered that fine balance to perfection. His natural way with people and deep love for what he does enhances teamwork dynamics onboard to their finest!
Born and raised in Cornwall, UK Adam grew up working part time at a yacht brokerage detailing and selling yachts. As such the yachting seed sprouted early on and led to a successful career in the industry for the past 7 years.
Adam lives a duality of the heart, both yearning for worldly exploration as well as rooted in being a family man. His wife and two young boys are in Adam’s words, “My whole world” and he is gifted to spend all his rotational time off the yacht with them back home. He cannot wait to take “the little monkeys” off to the ski slopes once they’re old enough.
Aside from skiing, road running keeps Adam fit and fly, but his true game face is revealed on the rugby field or at the pub as a spectator. He played the game from early on, igniting the competitive fire within - a thorough thrill of enjoyment comes in particular from any southern hemisphere team beating! Which is a friendly rivalry that plays out between the international crew onboard REVELRY as well!

Connie grew up in a small town in Surrey, UK. Growing up she always had a passion to explore and seek adventure. Her passion for diving, surfing and skiing has led her to a range of jobs where she can work and enjoy these hobbies. From working three winter seasons in the French Alps to superyachting in destinations all across the globe - the Caribbean islands, Norway, and the entire Italian and French Riviera -, Connie is fulfilling her dreams of adventure.
With her positive and bubbly nature Connie enjoys meeting people from all different walks of life. She has 4 years experience in the yachting industry, working on a range of sail and motor yachts and is thrilled to be onboard REVELRY and continue the creating unforgettable memories for herself and all our guests onboard.
