Originally from Portugal, Josue is a professional chef with experience in 2- and 3-Michelin-star restaurants, as well as in private and charter yachts and luxury villas.
He is passionate about cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients, combining creativity with precision, and adapting effortlessly to guests’ preferences and dietary requirements.
Before fully dedicating himself to the culinary world, Josue trained and worked as an architect and as a university lecturer, a background that strongly influences his structured approach, attention to detail, and presentation.
On board, he enhances the guest experience by delivering refined, personalised cuisine that balances flavour, elegance, and comfort.

Raquel grew up between Canada, Fort Lauderdale and the Bahamas, where her strong connection to the ocean and tropical environments naturally shaped her love for active, outdoor living. Her background in fitness includes over five years as a certified Personal Trainer and Kickboxing Instructor, having worked with Equinox and supported clients on their personal wellness goals. Fitness and wellness are central to her lifestyle, and she is dedicated to maintaining her own health while inspiring others to reach theirs. Her strong work ethic, motivated mindset and natural ability to support others shine through in her approach to wellbeing.
Outside of yachting, Raquel enjoys training, cooking nourishing meals and discovering new destinations and cultures that align with her active, wellness-focused life.

Maria grew up in the bustling city of Johannesburg, where she discovered her passion for wellness while working part-time as a spa therapist and nail technician during high school. By the age of 17, her entrepreneurial spirit led her to start her own nail technician business.
Eager to combine her skills with a sense of adventure, Maria followed in her brother’s footsteps and transitioned into the yachting industry. Since then, she has travelled extensively and even embarked on an unforgettable 45-day voyage from Greece to Antarctica, deepening her appreciation for the ocean and its challenges.
Maria thrives on discovering new cultures, embracing new adventures, and maintaining an active lifestyle wherever her travels take her.

Marco began his yachting journey with RoMa in 2022, bringing with him a background in hospitality and a strong passion for sports. His energetic and guest-focused approach ensures top-notch service, both onboard and during water-based activities. As an accomplished swimmer, Marco prioritizes guest safety while leading aquatic adventures.
A certified RYA jet ski instructor, experienced drone pilot, and talented videographer and photographer, Marco offers a versatile skill set. With your permission, he is always ready to capture and create lasting memories of your time on board.
When he’s not on duty, Marco enjoys rugby, cricket, football, swimming, and exploring his interest in digital marketing and video editing. His enthusiasm for sports and adventure ensures guests experience both excitement and security during every outing.

Adelkis is a Panamanian filmmaker and photographer whose work is inspired by a passion for adventure, the outdoors, and visual storytelling. Combining expertise in photography, videography, and extreme sports, he creates dynamic, immersive content across a wide range of environments. His portfolio includes work featured by internationally recognized platforms such as Discovery Channel and National Geographic, showcasing nature, culture, and human stories to global audiences.
His passion for the ocean and aerial cinematography continues to shape his creative vision.
An avid scuba diver, Adelkis is a certified Divemaster with additional Nitrox and Rescue Diver qualifications. His passion for the underwater world not only fuels his sense of adventure but also enhances his ability to capture compelling ocean-focused imagery and tell authentic stories both above and below the surface.

Captain Janusz leads the crew aboard RoMa with a combination of warmth, professionalism, and a deep passion for the sea. His maritime journey began at the age of 13, sailing the Baltic Sea and exploring the waters of his native Poland. He later joined Poland’s renowned cadet training tall ship, “Zawisza Czarny,” where he honed his skills while sailing internationally.
Following his early experiences and competitive sailing background, Janusz transitioned to the world of motor yachts. Since joining RoMa in February 2011, he has safely navigated the vessel through the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Adriatic, Red Sea, and Maldives, always delivering memorable voyages for guests.
Under Janusz’s leadership, RoMa’s crew has become one of the most decorated in the industry, winning prestigious awards such as the 2019 MYBA Show “All Hands-on Deck” Competition and the 2022 ACREW “Best Charter Yacht Crew” Award, both celebrating excellence in teamwork and guest service.
Janusz is dedicated to crafting bespoke itineraries, whether it’s securing the hottest beach clubs and restaurants, guiding guests to remote anchorages and pristine dive sites, or curating the ultimate private island experience.
In his downtime, Janusz, also a certified PADI Instructor, enjoys diving, golfing, and horse riding. He and his family reside in Mallorca, a fitting home base for his calm yet adventurous spirit. Environmentally conscious, Janusz loves inspiring guests to engage in eco-friendly activities and new adventures.

With over four decades of maritime experience, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and global cruising expertise to the helm of M/Y RoMa.
His journey began in 1975 along the Baltic coast, where an early passion for sailing evolved into a professional career by 1982. He started by training cadets aboard sailing yachts, laying a strong foundation in seamanship and crew development. In 1989, he transitioned into the superyacht industry, starting with M/Y Samar V, and has since held command positions on a number of prestigious vessels.
Michael is particularly well-versed in shipyard operations, having hands-on experience in Polish shipyards, French repair yards, and major European builders such as Lürssen (Carinthia VII), Feadship Van Lent (Yemoja, La Masquerade 30m), and Amels (La Masquerade 55m, Here Comes the Sun). His technical knowledge and shipyard background make him a valuable asset for both new builds and refit projects.
Throughout his career, he has worked with discerning owners and VIP clients, excelling in both private and charter operations. His cruising resume spans the Baltic Sea (including Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway), Mediterranean, Caribbean, Cuba, Mexico, Alaska, the South China Sea, Indian Ocean, Atlantic and surrounding islands, Red Sea, and South America.
Respected for his calm demeanor, strong leadership, and deep operational knowledge, Michael fosters a professional yet welcoming atmosphere on board.
When not at sea, he enjoys working with his hands on various home and garden projects, applying the same attention to detail and dedication that he brings to yachting.

Michael Droszcz

Daniel grew up in Mallorca in a multicultural family that shaped his love for global flavors and his naturally creative culinary style. He trained at just 19 in the 2-Michelin-star restaurant Tristan under Chef Gerard Schweiger and later expanded his experience in renowned kitchens from the Canary Islands to Scotland.
He entered the yachting world in 2013 as RoMa’s crew chef and, by 21, was already running a yacht galley on his own. With more than ten years of experience cooking aboard superyachts, Daniel has become a highly versatile chef, mastering cuisines ranging from Asian and French to Mexican, Kosher, Vegan, Paleo, Spanish, and sushi, with a special passion for desserts. His talent and dedication, recognized with four major culinary awards, ensure that every meal he creates is a memorable experience for guests.

Joy grew up immersed in the tight-knit surfing community of South Africa, holds a degree in Property Development and brings over 10 years of industry experience. She has also earned her Master of Yachts Unlimited – 200GT, a testament to her dedication to the industry.
Joy’s background extends beyond yachting — having worked across countryside, big city, ski and island private estates. She brings a well-rounded understanding of exceptional excellence in destination management to concierge services, financial operations, and administrative tasks – ensuring every detail is seamless.
Outside of her duties, she is drawn to the North Shore of Oahu, Hawai’i where between swells she enjoys collecting Puka shells — a cherished token of her surf culture roots. The island's close-knit community mirrors the camaraderie she’s found with her fellow crew members, making every day onboard RoMa fulfilling.

Vesna was born in Croatia, raised in New Zealand, and began her career as one of New Zealand’s leading stylists before moving into yachting to combine her love of travel and hospitality. With more than ten years of experience on renowned charter superyachts from 40 to 75 meters, she has cruised widely across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, USA, and Bahamas.
As RoMa’s chief stewardess, she has earned three major industry awards that recognize her exceptional service, refined wine expertise, and outstanding guest care. Her passion for food, wine, décor, fashion, and travel, along with her meticulous attention to detail, ensures every guest enjoys a beautifully tailored and truly memorable onboard experience.
