Originally from South Africa, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and brings over three years of land-based experience specialising in HVAC systems, project management, and mechanical maintenance.
Previously serving onboard the 40m M/Y PLAN A, Jason supported both deck and engineering operations, from mooring and exterior detailing to engine start-ups, fuel systems, bunkering, and general technical upkeep. His practical mindset, problem-solving ability, and calm approach make him a valuable asset in fast-paced charter environments.
Growing up waterskiing, wakeboarding, and diving, Jason is naturally drawn to life on the water. As the eldest of five, he is great with children and thrives in team settings. Hardworking, adaptable, and eager to progress toward his EOOW certification, Jason brings energy, reliability, and technical confidence to every charter.

With extensive experience onboard Mangusta 130 yachts, Olivia is confident in stern and bow manoeuvres, tender driving, night watches, and deck maintenance including teak work, polishing, and propeller treatments. She also oversees water toys and auxiliary boat upkeep with care and precision.

With more than 30 years of culinary experience, Laurent is a talented chef and pastry chef whose career spans Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotels, private villas, and superyachts. Trained in Cannes at the prestigious Nerée School of Classic Cuisine, he refined his skills under renowned chef Jacques Chibois before working at some of the French Riviera’s most celebrated establishments.
Known for his versatility, Laurent excels at creating bespoke menus tailored to guest preferences while maintaining the highest standards of presentation and service. His passion for baking and pastry led him to establish the successful café and bakery La Madeleine de Proust in Palma de Mallorca. Warm, adaptable, and highly experienced in both private and charter operations, Laurent consistently delivers memorable dining experiences that elevate every charter.

Captain Max started his nautical career with a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering before moving into the yachting industry. Now with nearly 20 years' experience in yachting Maxim is a highly experienced captain with excellent management skills.
He has curated his team carefully, creating a happy and efficient team, with many of the crew members having previously worked with Max. Maxi is a great charter captain with fantastic feedback from his previous command and is now ready to show guests the best of the Mediterranean and deliver a memorable charter experience.

Denys is a highly experienced Chief Engineer with over 20 years at sea and extensive expertise across private and charter yachts up to 56m. With a strong technical background — including previous experience as Chief Assembling Engineer for Caterpillar in the USA and Canada — he brings exceptional knowledge of CAT and MTU engines and complex mechanical systems.
Having served as Chief Engineer on multiple busy yachts, Denys confidently manages all engine room operations, electrical and hydraulic systems, HVAC, and shipyard periods. His structured approach to planned maintenance and troubleshooting ensures seamless performance and reliability throughout every charter.
Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and hands-on, Denys is a dependable leader who prioritises safety, efficiency, and smooth onboard operations — allowing guests to enjoy a flawless experience at sea.

Samantha Pynchon brings a polished hospitality background, exceptional guest service skills, and an infectious enthusiasm for life on the water. Originally from New England, her passion for the ocean began through years of competitive sailing, including four years competing at NCAA Division I level, where she developed resilience, teamwork, and confidence in demanding environments.
With more than a decade of fine dining and bartending experience, Samantha is highly skilled in silver service, cocktail preparation, wine knowledge, table presentation, and creating memorable guest experiences. Her meticulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and calm, positive personality allow her to thrive in fast-paced luxury settings. Alongside her hospitality expertise, she brings practical maritime knowledge, water confidence, and basic deck skills, making her a versatile addition to any interior team. Away from work, Samantha enjoys reading, drawing, crochet, travelling, and discovering new cultures, bringing warmth, creativity, and genuine care to every charter experience.

Samantha Pynchon

Energetic, versatile, and always ready to lend a hand, Macey Porter brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic to every charter. Originally from the United States, she has quickly developed a well-rounded skill set across both deck and interior operations, making her a valuable asset to any crew. Currently serving onboard M/Y Mystique, Macey is actively involved in crane operations, tender launches and recoveries, teak maintenance, painting, line handling, anchoring, and watchkeeping, while also supporting the interior with housekeeping, laundry, and guest cabin preparation.
Her previous experience at the Palm Beach Boat Show further strengthened her guest interaction skills and attention to presentation. Before yachting, Macey managed university recreation operations, leading large teams and responding confidently in high-pressure situations. A Bachelor of Arts graduate in Sociology, she combines professionalism with an outgoing personality. Outside of work, she enjoys surfing, paddleboarding, rock climbing, and weightlifting, bringing the same adventurous spirit and enthusiasm to life onboard that helps create memorable experiences for guests.

With a strong commercial maritime background and a seamless transition into the superyacht industry, Alvaro Flames brings extensive navigational expertise, leadership, and a safety-first approach to every voyage. Holding an OOW Unlimited certification, he has progressed through a variety of First Mate positions onboard private yachts, where he has overseen bridge operations, passage planning, deck maintenance, tender and toy management, crew supervision, and ISM compliance.
His previous commercial shipping experience has provided a solid technical foundation, while his yachting career has refined his guest-focused mindset and hands-on approach to deck operations. Calm under pressure and highly organised, Alvaro is equally comfortable leading docking manoeuvres, mentoring junior crew, or ensuring every aspect of the exterior is maintained to the highest standards. Passionate about building a long-term career in yachting, he is known for his professionalism, reliability, and collaborative nature, helping create safe, enjoyable experiences for owners and charter guests alike.
