Originally from South Africa, Guy has always felt at home near the ocean—so stepping into yachting back in 2011 was a natural move. With over a decade of hands-on experience and more than 10 years in senior deck roles, he’s become known for his calm, capable presence, technical skill, and team-first mindset. He’s currently working towards his Officer of the Watch certification and thrives on the structure, variety, and challenges of life at sea.
Guy’s not one to cut corners—he takes real pride in doing things properly, whether it’s managing refits, running safe deck ops, or supporting navigation and ISM duties. He’s also a passionate water sports and fitness enthusiast and when off the clock, he’s likely to be found kiteboarding, diving, or snowboarding—chasing adventure wherever he can find it.

His passion has led him across the globe, from the Middle East to managing watersports at the prestigious Bakers Bay resort in the Bahamas. Chris loves sharing his enthusiasm for watersports with guests wherever he goes.

Chris brings over 18 years of maritime experience to S7, blending a hands-on leadership style with a strong technical edge and a guest-focused mindset. Starting out on commercial RIBs, he has since captained private yachts up to 40 metres and served as Chief Officer on vessels up to 55 metres, across both private and charter operations.
He leads from the front — rolling up his sleeves on deck and making sure both crew and guests feel at ease. Whether it’s running a tight charter schedule, managing surveys, or implementing ISM from scratch, Chris gets stuck in and makes things happen. He recently attained his MCA Master 3000GT ticket, backed by years of cruising and sailing throughout the Mediterranean, and Middle East. Complementing this, he has solid engineering knowledge (including AEC and MTU 4000 OL1) and is just as comfortable in the engine room as he is at the helm.
Off the boat, Chris is an adventurer at heart — surfing, biking, diving, or studying the marine biology around him. Reliable, relatable, and driven, he brings a steady hand and a great energy to S7.

Halil, born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, has over 19 years of experience in the maritime industry working as an engineer on merchant marine ships and sailing worldwide. With his extensive expertise, he now serves the yachting industry, ensuring impeccable maintenance of the Engine Room machinery and other areas aboard S7 to create unforgettable experiences for guests. Aside from his engineering skills, Halil is also a talented draftsman and painter, pursuing oil painting as a hobby.

Ramazan was born and raised on the Bosporus in Istanbul, Turkey.With 14 years in the maritime industry, he started as a Machine Cadet and completed his internship in commercial shipping where he went onto serve as an Engineer for 8 years. He has spent the last 6 years in the yachting industry, armed with a hands-on approach, rigorous maintenance schedule, and a wealth of knowledge. Ramazan keeps a positive attitude, immaculate Engine Room and is a true problem solver.

Lisa brings over 12 years of experience and a calm, confident presence to her role as Chief Stewardess. She’s led interiors on both private and charter yachts across the Caribbean, Med, and US—often juggling back-to-back trips, managing refits, and keeping large teams running like clockwork. Known for her friendly smile and exceptional organisational skills, Lisa leads with both professionalism and warmth, ensuring that guests receive seamless, five-star service from start to finish.
Lisa has a background in hospitality and event planning, and is very creative, having trained in both Art and music at degree level. This shows in her skills at curating thoughtful guest experiences—whether it’s a themed dinner, an onboard event, or simply the perfect cocktail after a long day. Lisa is all about creating a positive, motivated atmosphere onboard, and she’s a natural mentor for junior crew. Off the boat, she’s into yoga, fitness, and getting creative, always bringing her trademark energy, elegance, and attention to detail wherever she goes.

Chef Markie, with 15 seasons in the yachting industry, hails from Pretoria, South Africa. Growing up around his Grandmother, a catering manager at Irene Country Club, he developed a love for the kitchen. Following two years as a Corporal in the South African Army, he pursued his culinary qualifications at the Sandton Catering and Hotel School over five years. Prior to moving to the UK in 2006, Chef Markie ran his private Chef business in Cape Town, where he was introduced to yachting.
Combining his passion, expertise, and personal flair, he crafts unforgettable dining experiences. When not in the galley, Markie tends to his small farm and olive grove near Cannes.

Originally from the UK, Rachel brings with her over 16 years of experience in hospitality, having worked across hotels, bars, and in management roles before making the leap into yachting in 2022. Since then, she’s been part of busy private and charter motor yacht programmes, quickly adapting her land-based skills to life at sea. Calm, patient, and highly organised, Rachel particularly enjoys cocktail service, theme nights, and creating immaculate, inviting guest spaces.
With formal training in food service, wine, bartending, and mixology, Rachel brings both professionalism and a personal touch to every charter. Away from work, Rachel’s a passionate singer-songwriter and keen traveller who enjoys paddleboarding, hiking, and keeping active.
