Hudson is from Sydney, Australia. Growing up near the ocean boating, surfing, swimming, and snorkelling has allowed him to be drawn towards the yachting industry. However, prior to that Hudson travelled and worked within different industries and countries. He finished high school in 2018 and immediately moved to Nisekom, Japan. He lived within the snow mountain area for 7 months where he snowboarded and worked at a rental ski and snowboard shop.
Later Hudson moved to Whistler, Canada where he worked at the prestigious Fairmont Chateau Whistler for a year and a half. When COVID began he returned home where he was offered a full scholarship to a Division II American college within the football team as a punter. Once leaving the United States after two years due to injury he decided that yachting, traveling, and meeting people from around the world was his calling.
