I started yachting in 2001 and have been fortunate to work all around the world on both sail and motor yachts, including serving as the build engineer on an ice-class explorer yacht, Galileo G, which completed a full circumnavigation and many thousands of miles with the same owner and crew over five years. I am a native English speaker with some Thai, and I hold an SNC in Automobile Engineering and an HNC in Marine Engineering, as well as being a qualified PADI Instructor. Before moving into yachting full time, I worked a variety of jobs while travelling globally, including bars, construction, and farm work, before transitioning into small yacht building and teaching diving. Growing up on an island surrounded by the sea, with a childhood spent fishing, camping, sailing, and riding motorbikes, a career in yachting felt like a natural progression. Thailand is my favourite place in the world, and when not working I enjoy motorbike road trips, renovating properties in both the UK and Thailand, and staying fit through the gym and yoga. My biggest adventure has been my life of travel since the age of 19, and my most rewarding professional experience was completing the build and commissioning of Galileo G to the owner’s satisfaction and taking her around the world.

Rosie grew up in a small village in rural Dorset, England, and studied International Hospitality Management at Univer-sity in Oxford. Following University, Rosie worked as a Chalet Manager for two seasons in Meribel, and spent a sum-mer working in the Scilly Isles.
Rosie enjoyed the challenging and active nature of her ski seasons, and decided to move to Antibes for life at a lower altitude. A steep learning curve in a deck-oriented position ignited her passion for sailing. Working exclusively on sail-ing yachts including SY Kokomo and SY Asahi, Rosie has thoroughly enjoyed chartering across the Mediterranean and Caribbean for a number of years. A recent stint in Tahiti has deepened her desire to discover more of what the Pacific has to offer.
Rosie is energetic, outgoing, and sociable, and her notable attention to detail ensures a fabulous guest experience. In her free time, Rosie enjoys skiing, hiking, tennis, diving and horse riding.

My areas of expertise as a Chase Boat Captain include extensive experience across the Mediterranean—particularly Turkey, France, Italy, Corsica, and Sardegna—as well as on the Great Barrier Reef and the Whitsundays, where I spent many years working in tourism, driving boats, and diving. I have been working in the yachting industry for the past four years, and some of my best experiences have been running the chase boat while exploring these regions of the Mediterranean. I speak French, German, English, and Spanish, and I hold a Bachelor of Laws. Before joining the yachting industry, I worked extensively in tourism on the Great Barrier Reef, where I operated boats and worked as a diving professional. Prior to that, I travelled internationally as a dive instructor. Yachting has been a fantastic and fulfilling transition for me—challenging, rewarding, and exactly the career change I had hoped for. My favourite places on Earth are the Galápagos Islands and Fernando de Noronha in Brazil. When I’m not working, you’ll find me skydiving, skiing, golfing, or adventuring. My biggest adventure so far has been heli-skiing in the Canadian Rockies. What I enjoy most about working on yachts is the constant discovery of new places and the opportunity to take on fresh challenges.
