For Luksa, a life defined by the sea was set in motion nearly half a century ago. His maritime journey began in 1979 on commercial ships before he transitioned his ocean-going experience into the world of superyachts. With more than twenty years spent proudly in command positions, there is virtually no hidden bay, ancient port, or secret passage across the Adriatic and Mediterranean that he does not know by heart. When he steps ashore for downtime, Luksa heads home to Povlja on the island of Brač, where he enjoys the slow-paced, authentic rhythms of traditional Croatian island life.
