Born in South Africa, Mark grew up surrounded by the ocean and took advantage of this by spending much of his childhood outdoors surfing and diving. After studying and practising civil engineering, he yearned for more than the daily commute. He sought out a career in the world of yachting, which suited him perfectly as someone who is energetic and enjoys being active.
Mark has gained valuable leadership skills on board several well-known yachts, both private and charter, all of which required meticulous attention to detail and ensuring a pleasant and fun atmosphere for the guests. Mark and the deck team aim to surpass any standard set, contributing to the perfect stay on board.
Mark is organised, efficient and able to adapt to changing regulations. He is proficient at multiple watersports and loves teaching guests to be entertained while being safe.

Born in Harrogate, United Kingdom, Jennifer remained a north Yorkshire local throughout school and college, where she trained as a beauty therapist. After completing her studies and advanced training, Jennifer took a break to explore the world, spending two years travelling around South America!
After returning to Harrogate, Jennifer put her skills to use and worked her way up the ranks in a luxury spa and hotel where she ultimately managed the large spa and beauty team for many years. Being a driven and motivated learner, Jennifer has also worked in other hospitality sectors to broaden her skillset. This has provided her with a solid foundation to explore a life working onboard yachts where she contributes to our team as a 2nd Stewardess, leading and striving to give guests the most luxurious and memorable moments on board SEANNA.
Jennifer brings an always approachable and smiling professionalism to the interior team and enjoys exploring nature in her time off, often hiking when possible.

Tana hails from sunny Durban, South Africa. She attended an all-girls Catholic school before moving to Cape Town to study a BCom in Economics and Business at the University of Cape Town.
After completing her degree, Tana decided to pursue a career in yachting, driven by her love for travel and the ocean. As a stewardess, she excels in providing exceptional service and enjoys getting creative with table décor and themed settings.
When she’s off the boat, Tana loves exploring new countries and adds a new destination to her travel list whenever she has the chance. Tana is passionate about the outdoors, enjoying activities like hiking, walking, and playing or watching sports. She’s also an avid reader.

Stephen was born and grew up on the Isle of Wight. He went to university in Plymouth to study Marine Engineering, hoping to progress as a Naval Architect, but he discovered early on that sitting in front of a computer was not for him. Stephen began sailing at the age of six; he started off competitively in his youth and progressed on to yachts.
Obtaining his commercial licence, he worked between the merchant navy and shipyards for three years before returning to yachting in winter 2022. Stephen started his yachting career as a deckhand but soon moved onto the role of engineer. He is very hands on and safety minded. If a problem arises, Stephen will be first in line to fix it.
His favourite pastime is working on cars, tending to buy older cars and tackling the myriad of problems they come with. He also enjoys reading and snowboarding, trying to spend as much time up the mountain as feasibly possible.

Born and raised in Poole, England, a coastal town with a rich maritime heritage, Reece Atkinson has always been drawn to the ocean. His love for watersports and exploration was nurtured from an early age, and the sea has been a constant source of inspiration in his life. His stepbrother, a 2nd officer in the yachting industry, was a key influence in Reece’s decision to pursue a career on the water.
Reece thrives in team environments and prides himself on delivering exceptional guest service. Whether it’s operating tenders, jet skiing, or coordinating watersports, he ensures guests enjoy their time aboard to the fullest. Reece’s career in yachting has allowed him to travel extensively, exploring iconic coastlines. In 2024, he had the opportunity to venture to Indonesia, marking a highlight in his yachting journey for him.
Outside of work, Reece stays active, enjoying a variety of sports such as tennis, golf, and fitness activities. In his downtime, he enjoys participating in charity boxing matches, which help him stay sharp both mentally and physically.

Born in the UK and now based in Mallorca, Susan brings over two decades of global yachting experience to her role. Professionally trained and passionate about her craft, she began her culinary journey in a prestigious luxury hotel before moving into yachting, where she has worked on several iconic vessels. Known for her organisation, creativity, and calm approach, she has consistently delivered exceptional cuisine for charter guests across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Pacific, and beyond.
Susan’s culinary repertoire is broad and inventive, encompassing Mediterranean, Japanese, French, and modern English cuisines, with a strong flair for patisserie and modernist techniques. She expertly caters to a wide range of dietary requirements - from vegan and gluten-free to keto and raw - bringing both precision and imagination to every dish.
Outside of the galley, Susan is passionate about travel, fine dining, and staying current with global food trends. She enjoys surfing in Costa Rica, diving, running, yoga, and discovering new culinary techniques and flavours wherever she goes. Her energy, experience, and dedication make her a vital part of the SEANNA team.

Jason has been on SEANNA since her launch in 2011, and he has grown with the boat from 2nd engineer to chief engineer. He has collected all the relevant certifications along the way to earn his Y1 Engineering ticket.
Jason keeps a cool head in the heat of the engine room, ensuring the boat offers you smooth and safe sailing. His favourite part of the job is tackling and overcoming the unforeseen challenges that could potentially catch him off-guard.
Jason is a keen surfer and enjoys diving, kiteboarding, and spending time with his family. Always keeping busy, he has tasked himself to making his house more eco-friendly during his time off.

Alex grew up in the Isle of Wight where he played and coached rugby after finishing school. Alex spent a year in Australia playing for a team in North Sydney while training to become a professional rugby player before life led him towards yachting instead.
Alex joined the industry in 2009 and worked on board SEANNA for seven years, working his way up from deckhand to 2nd officer. He departed in 2019 and has climbed the ladder to Chief Officer on a variety of prestigious yachts. We welcome him back on board once more as Chief Officer in 2023. He continues to progress as he works on his Master modules.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys numerous sports and hobbies including rugby, surfing, travelling, camping and property development. Alex has been fortunate enough to travel to places such as Burma and the Solomon Islands.

Gary began his career on a high note by winning a scholarship to travel and study cooking; this took him to all the best restaurants in Sydney, Australia over a period of 6 months. He boarded his first yacht in 2011 and joined SEANNA in 2019. His favourite part about his job is having the freedom to apply his knowledge and abilities to exceed guest expectations. He will push guests outside of their culinary comfort zone to encounter new dishes and flavours that make their experience on board more memorable.
Gary completed 12 years as an engineering officer in the British Army before starting as an apprentice in Michelin starred restaurants. He is passionate about cooking and strives to ensure every dish tastes and looks fantastic. He prides himself on sourcing the freshest local produce.
When not cooking up a storm, Gary pursues his interests of hiking, cycling, yoga and skiing. He also ensures he eats at plenty of amazing restaurants, you could call it a kind of market research.

Growing up on the West Coast of New Zealand in New Plymouth, Anna started traveling from a young age when her family moved to Qatar for four years. This experience nurtured her desire to travel and see different cultures. Following her high school education, Anna completed a diploma in Spa and Beauty Therapy. Her skill base was developed by working in boutiques spas around New Zealand.
Anna made the change of career path in 2016, transferring her beauty skills into the yachting industry and from there working her way up in the interior department. Anna has always lived by the water, her dad worked at sea and it is somewhere she manages to feel the most excited and also the calmest. She hopes to transfer this juxtaposition to guests alike, helping you have an exciting yet relaxing stay on board.
Anna loves all things outdoors, diving, going for runs and long hikes. She enjoys trying out different restaurants and cafes, reading and watching a good series.
