Born in Germany and raised in Turkey, Bora enjoyed a multi-cultural environment in his formative years. As a young man passionate for discovery, his first pursuit was through viewfinders. He worked as a professional photographer and editor for over 10 years. The attention to detail that this profession entails is still with him.
Then came the urge to physically discover the world and the oceans. He became a dive instructor and worked on dive boats until 2020, when he decided to cross over to yachting.
A dive instructor’s health and safety awareness, adherence to high technical requirements but always keeping in mind that people are there to have a good time. These traits of his turned out to be an asset in this new career.
SEAWOLF X is his second yacht as chief officer and he is excited to be part of such a modern and innovative yacht that prioritizes sustainability.
Bora loves snowboarding in winter and kite surfing in summer. When he is not on or in the water, he could be found riding his bike on the twisty mountain roads of the Mediterranean coasts.
