With over 8 years of experience, Ryan has built a reputation as a highly skilled and reliable Chief Engineer. Known for his sharp problem-solving skills and hands-on expertise, he ensures SECOND LOVE runs seamlessly behind the scenes—delivering both performance and peace of mind.

Off duty, Ryan is an active and adventurous spirit. He enjoys kite surfing, golfing, and staying fit in the gym. A keen mind for numbers, he's also passionate about finance, actively trading and investing in the forex market. His well-rounded energy, technical mastery, and calm confidence make him an invaluable team player.

Originally from Pretoria and raised in Bloemfontein, South Africa, Mar-ques discovered his love for the water at a young age, spending weekends at his family’s lake house immersed in watersports. This early connection to the outdoors laid the foundation for his passion for adventure and ultimately led him to pursue a career in the yachting industry.

Eager to explore the world and grow professionally, Mar-ques holds a Yachtmaster Offshore certification as well as a PADI Open Water license, equipping him with both technical expertise and a calm confidence on the water. He brings a strong sense of commitment, adaptability, and enthusiasm to every voyage.

When not onboard, Mar-ques enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending quality time with his family.

Kaylee was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. After completing her degree with a Bachelors of Business, Kaylee pursued a career for several years as a producer for a post-production company sending her all around South Africa, Kaylee thrived building relationships with her clients and through this she was introduced to the prospect of yachting which allowed her to meet her desire for more travel and continue her love of working with people and thus decided to pursue a career in yachting.

Kaylee’s love of people and her 9 year hospitality background has allowed her to thrive in the industry. Outside of work, she has a passion for wine, scenic views, and hosting parties with friends.

Born and raised in the charming village of Auchendinny near Edinburgh, Scotland, Gavin’s connection to the sea began at just four years old. Inspired by his seafaring family, he quickly charted a course toward a life on the water. His early passion evolved into elite skill as he competed on Scotland’s national sailing team before launching his professional yachting career in 2001.

With over 24 years of maritime experience, including 13 years as Captain, Gavin holds a 3000 GT license. His impressive voyages include 35 Atlantic crossings, two Indian Ocean passages, and extensive cruising throughout the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas, and US waters.

Prior to joining SECOND LOVE, Gavin captained the renowned charter yacht HOSPITALITY (50m Westport), one of the most successful and sought-after yachts in the Bahamas and Caribbean, earning a reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences and flawless operations.

His desire for adventure and global experiences led him to join the yachting industry in the Mediterranean, where he’s spent the past five years honing his skills and setting his sights on one day becoming a Captain. Seth brings a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a deep respect for the ocean to every charter.

In his downtime, Seth is always chasing the next thrill, whether surfing, kitesurfing, or diving, and loves discovering new culinary spots around the world. His passion for the sea and easygoing nature make him a valued part of the SECOND LOVE team.

Originally from George, a scenic town in South Africa’s Western Cape, Dylan launched his yachting career in Palma de Mallorca before continuing his journey to the U.S. Over the past 3 years, he has explored the Caribbean extensively, building a solid foundation in the marine industry and developing a deep appreciation for life at sea.

With a strong work ethic, warm personality, and a genuine passion for guest interaction, Dylan thrives in guest-facing roles. He brings positive energy and professionalism to every charter, ensuring guests feel welcomed and well cared for from the moment they step aboard.

Outside of work, Dylan is an adventurer at heart. He enjoys hiking, playing guitar, and spending time in the water—whether it’s scuba diving, free diving, or simply keeping fit.
