Alex is a British Engineering Officer who grew up in Birmingham, UK, before moving to Mallorca with his family at age 14. Here, Alex discovered the yachting industry and decided this was his path once he had completed school. Alex moved back to England and trained in the merchant navy for three years, completing six months of sea time on large bulk carriers. Once certified, Alex made the jump to yachting and quickly landed on his feet. Over the last eight years, yachting has been an incredible way to see the world and has provided Alex with an abundance of lasting memories. She spent the next 10 years exploring the world, from working in top restaurants and hotels in the Austrian and French Alps. to cocktail waitressing on the Greek Island. In between she traveled Asia, Central and South America, volunteering on farms and hostels along the way. Lina is now our passionate Chief Stewardess with a wealth of knowledge of all areas of the interior.
