Christian is SERENO’s dependable and detail-driven Chief Officer, bringing a calm confidence and wealth of hands-on experience to the deck team. Born in the UK and holding British, Irish, and Spanish residency, he blends an international outlook with a deep-rooted passion for the sea. Before stepping into yachting, Christian managed one of London’s top dive stores and spent years teaching diving and working in marine conservation across Southeast Asia and the Caribbean.
Since joining the yachting industry in 2021, Christian has quickly progressed to Chief Officer aboard a busy 42-metre charter yacht, where he took the lead on watersports, chase boat handling, and guest activities. His background as a PADI Instructor and watersports business manager makes him a natural guide for diving, wakeboarding, and any fun guests want to have on the water. Known for his diligence and clear communication, he also plays a key role in guest liaison and concierge support, helping to deliver smooth, personalised charters.
Whether he’s running safety drills, managing deck operations, or organising a perfect day of watersports, Christian is quietly efficient and always guest focused. Off duty, he’s just as active—diving, surfing, skiing, or enjoying a round of padel to keep his energy high and his seafaring spirit alive.

Daniel, our accomplished Head Chef, brings over 15 years of culinary expertise from some of London’s top restaurants, exclusive private households, and premium charter yachts around the globe. Originally from Australia, his career has taken him from Michelin-starred kitchens and luxury resorts to busy Mediterranean and Caribbean charter programmes—each step refining his craft and deepening his love of cooking at sea. Daniel’s career ashore includes leadership roles such as Group Head Chef at M Restaurants in London and Head Chef across multiple outlets, where he refined his creativity and talent for designing diverse, innovative menus.
Since moving into yachting, Daniel has thrived as Sole Chef on a range of private and charter yachts, delighting guests with his international culinary repertoire. From elegant fine dining to beachside BBQs and themed dinners, everything is made from scratch using the best local ingredients sourced en route. His repertoire spans global cuisines—French, Thai, Japanese, modern European, and plant-based menus are all part of his skill set—and he’s equally comfortable accommodating specific dietary needs and wellness-focused requests.
Outside the galley, Daniel enjoys a vibrant life centred around health, fitness, entertaining, and spending time on or around the water, reflecting his natural affinity for life at sea and his commitment to creating exceptional onboard experiences.

Nadia, a dual German-South African national, brings over five years of diverse yachting experience to her role as Chief Stewardess. Raised with a flair for creativity and service, Nadia has grown into an imaginative and hands-on leader known for her meticulous attention to detail and warm, supportive nature. From setting up full interior SOPs to executing elaborate parties for over 120 guests, Nadia thrives on delivering unique and memorable experiences, whether it’s curating themed events, innovative table settings, or signature welcome cocktails.
Her career highlights include managing busy charter and private programmes across the Caribbean, US, and Mediterranean, where she has overseen interiors on yachts up to 78 metres. Passionate about interior design, well-being, and outdoor adventures like hiking and watersports, Nadia brings fresh ideas, positive energy, and a collaborative spirit, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere onboard.

Izzie grew up on the water in the UK, sailing competitively from a young age and eventually representing England at the RS Feva World Championship in the Netherlands. Her early exposure to the sailing world, combined with years spent around yacht clubs, naturally led her toward a career in yachting. With a degree in Psychology and a strong background in hospitality, Izzie combines a thoughtful, guest-focused approach with genuine enthusiasm for life at sea.
She’s worked on both private and charter yachts up to 72 metres, including event charters like the Monaco Grand Prix, where she helped deliver seamless guest experiences under pressure. From fine dining service and formal turn-downs to meticulous detailing of cabins and salons, Izzie brings a calm, capable presence to the interior team. Her experience in high-end restaurants and fast-paced hospitality roles ensures she meets guest expectations with poise and precision.
Outdoorsy and creative by nature, Izzie spends her downtime sailing, surfing, hiking, or sewing - pursuits that mirror her hands-on energy and love for detail. She brings a bright, adaptable spirit to SERENO, always ready to help wherever she can.

Originally from New Zealand, Jake embarked on his maritime career in 2020, after completing a rigorous Superyacht crew training course & attaining his M200 GT Certification. Prior to joining the yachting industry, he developed a strong work ethic through roles in construction and warehouse operations, where he honed his down-to-earth approach and practical mindset. Jake’s early hands-on training, combined with time spent on passenger ferries, polished his line handling, mooring, and customer-service abilities, preparing him for life on board.
This is Jake’s second year on SERENO, and you will find him hands-on—whether he’s looking after the yacht, running the watersports, or lending a hand with guest hospitality. His positive energy and willingness to pitch in wherever he’s needed make him a great asset on deck. Jake’s usually surfing, playing rugby, or just exploring new places. He’s always up for an adventure and keen to help guests get the most out of their time on board.

Born and raised in Peru, Emerson brings a unique blend of technical expertise, maritime resilience, and global experience to his role as Engineer aboard SERENO. Initially mastering AV/IT systems and signal infrastructure in Latin American broadcasting, Emerson moved his considerable skills to the maritime industry. He is a qualified Marine Engineer Officer and Electro Technical Officer, with experience across diverse vessels including humanitarian rescue ships and superyachts.
His engineering capabilities encompass propulsion systems, high-voltage electrical systems, diesel engines, hydraulics, satellite communications, and advanced AV/IT technologies. Known for his adaptability, calm problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail, Emerson ensures seamless technical operations and optimal guest comfort.
Off duty, he passionately explores marine technology and remains dedicated to lifelong learning, With Emerson onboard, you can relax knowing every voyage runs smoothly and safely, leaving you free to fully enjoy your charter experience.

Hailing from Brittany, Ludovic brings over 26 years of maritime experience to his role as Captain. Much of his career was spent with Le Ponant, where he captained a series of 130m + luxury expedition vessels on voyages through the Great Lakes, Seychelles, Indonesia, and the Great Barrier Reef. With a Master Unlimited licence, he pairs technical expertise with a calm, steady approach that has earned him the trust of both guests and crew. His long-standing tenure with one company reflects not only his reliability but also his dedication to creating safe, seamless, and memorable experiences at sea.
Onboard, Ludovic is as personable as he is professional. A natural leader and a true family man, he values teamwork and inspires confidence with his approachable manner.
Guests appreciate his warm, guest-focused style, while his background as a sailing instructor, PADI Advanced diver, and licensed helicopter and fixed-wing pilot adds an adventurous edge to any charters he curates. Born and raised on the French coast, Captain Arnaud’s connection to the sea began early, working alongside his family in their water sport's company, where he managed everything from diving excursions to day charters.
Now with more than a decade at the helm of high-end motor and sailing yachts, Arnaud is respected for his quiet confidence, excellent seamanship, and dedication to creating seamless charter experiences.
As an experienced charter captain with a loyal base of repeat charter guests, Arnaud brings an innate understanding of what makes a charter experience exceptional. His deep knowledge of the Mediterranean waters coupled with his intuitive sense of where to go and when ensures every tip is memorable, seamless, and tailored to the guests wishes.
Friendly and approachable, he builds strong rapport with both guests and crew, ensuring that every moment aboard SERENO is
