Emrah has been sailing across the Mediterranean for over 25 years. He holds a university degree in Yacht and Marina Management. His career began in 2000 as a student deckhand on traditional sailing gulets, and by the age of 19, he had earned his master’s license thanks to his four years of vocational high school education.
For more than 20 years, Emrah has served as a captain, extensively sailing the Mediterranean, Aegean, Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and Indian Ocean on yachts of various sizes and types. He has logged over 120,000 nautical miles of experience.
Dynamic and highly attentive, Emrah is accustomed to looking after high-profile clients, always prioritizing their comfort at sea and ensuring they enjoy an unforgettable experience on board.
With his background as a consultant and port agent owner, he also brings valuable knowledge of maritime law and insurance. Emrah has been involved with SEVEN since the start of her construction, serving as the owner’s representative.

Emrah Durmaz

Professional yacht chef with more than 20 years of experience aboard private and charter yachts in the Mediterranean. Throughout his career, he has developed strong expertise in Turkish, Mediterranean, and international cuisines, delivering consistently high standards across a wide range of onboard environments.
He brings extensive experience in menu planning, provisioning, galley management, and maintaining exceptional hygiene standards, particularly during demanding charter operations. Calm, organised, and highly reliable, he ensures the galley runs smoothly and efficiently while adapting menus to guest preferences and operational needs onboard.

Celal Altun
Chef
He was born on December 1, 1971. After graduating from Motor Vocational High School in 1991, he began working as an engineer in the maritime industry, gaining experience on ships and yachts of various sizes.
He possesses the required knowledge, certifications, and extensive hands-on experience to carry out all tasks necessary on both ships and yachts.

Hasim Tasci

She was born in 1996 into a seafaring family and has been working in the yachting industry since 2021.
She is dedicated to delivering the highest standards of service, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction. Open to learning and passionate about discovering new cultures and meeting new people, she is highly motivated to progress in her career while traveling the world.
She speaks English, Russian, Azerbaijani, and Turkish

Dilara Aslan
Chief steward/ess
Hakan is a young, dynamic, and motivated deckhand. After completing four years of maritime studies, he began working on both motor and sailing yachts ranging from 30 to 47 meters. A skilled sailor, he regularly takes part in local regattas and competitive sailing events.
Known for his infectious positive attitude, Hakan enjoys working on deck, sailing, watersports, and basketball, and he is also an excellent tender driver. He has extensively cruised on both private and charter yachts throughout the Eastern and Western Mediterranean, including numerous Greek destinations.
Hakan joined SEVEN alongside Captain Emrah from the very beginning of her construction. He has a natural leadership spirit, a friendly character, and is always eager to share his experience with others.

Hakan Aktaş
Deckhand
Fethi was born in a picturesque seaside town renowned for its traditional wooden gulets. With his father also being a captain, much of his childhood was spent at sea. At the age of 16, he began his career in the yachting industry as a deckhand on the region’s iconic gulets.
After graduating from maritime school, he successfully completed the Yacht Master exams and obtained his Yacht Master License. Since 2012, he has worked on various sailing yachts, gaining valuable experience and sailing over 15,000 miles through Croatia, Italy, Greece, Montenegro, and the Eastern Mediterranean.
Fethi joined Sailing Yacht SEVEN during her construction, before her official launch.

Fethi Koray Aktas
First Officer
Professional yacht stewardess with experience aboard private and charter yachts from 30m to 118m in the Mediterranean, she delivers high-standard guest service and manages all aspects of interior operations, including housekeeping, silver service, table decoration, floral arrangements, wardrobe organisation, provisioning, and inventory control.
Experienced in leading and training interior teams, she ensures smooth daily operations, impeccable presentation, and excellent guest experience even during demanding charters. Calm, adaptable, and detail-oriented, she maintains luxury standards in all aspects of yacht hospitality.
Fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.

Ievgenia Chobanu
Stewardess
He was born in a major coastal city and is now in his ninth year in the maritime industry. Over the course of his career, he has worked on both motor yachts and sailing yachts.
Energetic, funny, and dynamic, he brings a positive spirit on board. Beyond his professional skills, he enjoys working out, playing the guitar and ukulele,
as well as snowboarding and skateboarding.
He has cruised extensively around Italy, Greece, France, and across the Mediterranean.
