Growing up in a small seaside town on the Isle of Wight, Jack has always felt at home on the water. From dinghy sailing as a young boy to working aboard superyachts of up to 66 meters today, the sea has shaped both his career and his way of life.
Over the past 10 years, Jack has built a strong foundation in the maritime industry, including three years in yachting. Along the way, he has gained hands-on experience, developed a deep understanding of life at sea, and travelled to some incredible places around the world.
Outside of work, Jack enjoys exploring destinations off the beaten track with friends and family, discovering local cuisine, and finding lively bars with unforgettable atmospheres. Whether at sea or ashore, he is always drawn to new experiences, good company, and a sense of adventure.

Since joining the yachting industry five years ago, Daniel has enjoyed broadening his knowledge across all aspects of a vessel. For the past four years aboard SEVERIN*S, he has been a valued crew member, bringing dedication and enthusiasm to his work. Over recent years, Daniel has gained extensive experience and confidence in yachting, particularly through his work in the shipyard and during the busy summer charter season. Guests will appreciate his positive attitude and strong work ethic. With a great passion for travel, photography, and all water sports, Daniel is the ideal person to assist guests during their stay onboard.

Ivan grew up in Sofia, in the heart of the Balkans, where his interest in engineering gradually led him towards a life at sea. After qualifying as a marine engineer, he began his career on commercial vessels, gaining solid experience within large and dynamic engine room environments before moving into the yachting industry.
Over the years, he has served as Second Engineer and Electro-Technical Officer on yachts up to 65m, developing a strong understanding of both mechanical systems and electrical and automation technologies.
When not on board, Ivan is based between Shizuoka and Okinawa in Japan. Outside of work, he enjoys motorsport, sailing and photography.

Paul brings both energy and experience to the galley, along with a passion for food that began early in life. Growing up in the northern part of South Africa, he developed a deep appreciation for fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and the joy of cooking. By the age of 14, he already knew this was the path he wanted to follow.
Naturally adventurous, Paul feels right at home on the water. His love of meeting new people and creating memorable dining experiences makes him a great fit for life on board. A true people person, he enjoys bringing guests together through food, no matter where they come from.
For Paul, cooking is about far more than a career - it is about connection, experience, and shared moments. It has also played a deeply personal role in his life, as it is how he met his wife, making his passion for food even more meaningful. He looks forward to bringing that same warmth, creativity, and spirit to every experience on board.

Nelmari comes from the small farming town of Colesberg in South Africa, where her passion for cooking began at a young age, inspired by the importance of food in her family’s gatherings.
Since starting her professional career in 2017, she has spent the past nine years immersed in the world of hospitality, honing her fine dining skills at acclaimed establishments such as The Restaurant at Waterkloof and Gåte Restaurant.
Nel joined SEVERIN*S in early 2025, and this marks her second season on board. Life in the galley suits her perfectly - it is where her creativity and passion for service come together. When she is not on board, she enjoys hiking and spending time in nature.

Captain Julian boasts an impressive 43-year maritime career, highlighted by a distinguished 15-year command of the esteemed M/Y LEANDER G. Throughout his tenure, he completed 30 transatlantic voyages and two circumnavigations of the globe.
Julian recently joined SEVERIN*S from M/Y Jaguar, where he completed three highly successful charter seasons from 2023 to 2025.
Off duty, Julian enjoys a wide range of activities, including reading, sailing, swimming, scuba diving, cycling, and all genres of cinema. His passions extend beyond the sea, as he is a strong advocate for environmental conservation and cherishes time spent in nature, enjoying countryside pursuits such as shooting, riding, and fishing.
Among his most notable achievements is his stewardship of M/Y LEANDER G. Under his leadership, the vessel became known for its many repeat charters, including one remarkable client who returned an astonishing 22 times during his tenure from April 2004 to August 2019.

Mikey brings energy and enthusiasm to his role as Chief Officer. Born in France and raised in Birmingham, England, he is fluent in both English and French, giving him the best of both worlds when it comes to communication and connection.
With over 10 years in the yachting industry, Mikey has worked across a range of vessels, mastering everything from deck operations to safety management. His career has taken him through some of the most adventurous waters in the world, from the icy fjords of Scandinavia to the warm currents of the Red Sea.
Whether he is mentoring junior crew, fine-tuning deck operations, or ensuring everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes, Mikey does it all with professionalism and a smile. Off duty, you will likely find him on the football pitch, cheering on Manchester United, or planning his next adventure.

Michael Quigley
First Officer
Jorge was born on the north coast of Spain, in a beautiful seaside city called Gijon. Always drawn to the ocean and a former sailor, he earned a degree in nautical engineering and began his career in the commercial navy. In 2001, he transitioned into the yachting industry, where he has remained ever since.
After many years of traveling and gaining valuable experience, Jorge remains passionate about his work and continues to enjoy its challenges and rewards. Now based in Palma, he still loves returning to his roots in northern Spain, where his family and lifelong friends live.
His hobbies include traveling, sailing, basketball, and reading.

Daniel hails from Sweden, where he was raised amidst the glow of the northern lights and the serene beauty of frozen lakes in the country's northernmost region. His journey led him to pursue a career as a maritime engineer, a passion cultivated by his surroundings. Initially, he navigated cargo vessels through the Baltic and Mediterranean seas, honing his skills before transitioning to larger cruise ships traversing the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean.
In 2021, Daniel embraced a new chapter in his maritime career, venturing into the dynamic world of yachting, working on vessels spanning 39 to 147m. He has navigated waters from the Caribbean to the Red Sea, showcasing his expertise and adaptability. As the Chief Engineer onboard, Daniel's dedication to excellence shines through in his meticulous maintenance routines and swift problem-solving, ensuring the smooth operation of the vessel's intricate machinery and systems, and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency among his crewmates.
When not onboard, Daniel finds solace in his roots, splitting his time between Sweden and Spain, where he cherishes moments with his loved ones. His adventurous spirit finds expression in various outdoor pursuits, from skiing, to exploring trails during hikes, and cycling along the coast.

Masa originates from the vibrant city of Belgrade, Serbia. After earning her law degree, she ventured to the stunning shores of Montenegro. There, while working in the service sector for five years and embracing coastal living, she discovered her deep passion for the sea. This newfound love led her to the world of yachting, where she found the perfect blend of her interests: providing top-notch service and exploring the azure expanse of the ocean.
Masa is a qualified yoga instructor specialising in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, and she also holds a Purser qualification, further strengthening her expertise in yacht operations and guest service.
She is multilingual, speaking Serbian, English, and basic Spanish, and is currently learning Italian. In 2021, Masa joined SEVERIN*S as a Second Stewardess, and through dedication and hard work, she was promoted to Chief Stewardess in 2023.
