Driven by curiosity and a hunger to learn, Bernard immersed himself in the world of high-end hospitality. Along the way, he competed in several international culinary competitions and worked in prestigious Michelin star restaurants throughout Europe, showcasing not only his technical expertise but also his flair for innovation and presentation. Today, he brings all of that experience, passion, and global inspiration to the galley of our luxury superyacht. With a solid foundation in maritime operations and a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Officer training, Sam started his career navigating massive 170m cargo ships. It wasn’t long before his interest in the personal, luxurious side of life at sea pulled him toward yachting. For the past four years, he’s served as Chief Officer aboard the 70m Sherakhan—the big sister of M/Y Sheergold—and has now taken the helm of M/Y Sheergold with pride and dedication.
