Sean began his engineering training in 1998 working ashore in Australia. He describes himself as having ‘always been mechanically minded’ so knew it was the path his career was going to take. Once a trained engineer, he decided to take his skills with him to sea and since 2003 he had been leading teams of engineers across over 10 different vessels. Sean’s favourite country is Germany due to his love of the food, the people and the Weiss Beer! When off rotation, he lives in his floating home in Australia, meaning he is never off the water and loves to spend time with his friends, family and his beloved dog Ronan.
